I have a USB adapter for my desktop that i just got on the cheap to connect the desktop wirelessly to the network. I have a verizon mi-fi device. When I first used the adapter it connected fine, then I did windows updates and restarted and the adapter won't connect. I have found that I have to manually enter an IP address for it to connect which works, however I have no clue what to put in for the Preferred DNS server, everything I have tried won't connect. So what exactly am I supposed to use I can't find the DNS in the MI-FI settings where I found the IP ranges.
It should be getting DNS and DHCP from the MiFi. Have you tried pulling the battery on the MiFi? You could technically use any public DNS server in you want. MSUs DNS servers are actually faster than using my ISPs.
You're in college. The window of opportunity to drink and do drugs and take advantage of young girls is getting smaller by the day.
Only 2 DNS's I know offhand are

I think the first question is how old is the computer and what operating system? Wireless networking has come a long ways since the days of needing to manually configure adapters.
i have got it to connect using 220.127.116.11 but it is not going anywhere on the internet page
I still get DNS failed to respond
it is old and using XP
Don't post poop!

Does it taste like lemon?
It could be, what's the router you're using?
See, there's your problem, 18.104.22.168 is fine, but 22.214.171.124.1 is the address for under 12 and amorous.com. You are about to be arrested you sick bastard.
