I wonder how they feel about that Vander Blue guy...
We are all banned from there.
What's the story with that?
tRCMB - Visit at your own risk of being disgusted.
wasn't he going to go to wisconsin.. and the message board warriors abused him and his family... so he decommitted and went to marquette instead...

Kid is mentally fragile, wouldn't make it in the B1G.

Guys that are mentally fragile don't play like that at the end of close games.
Amazing that all the big shots came from Vander Blue (and everything that goes with that) and former Izzo target Jamil Wilson
And if the good Lord’s willin’,
I’m a keep on chillin’,
refillin’ and flyin’ high
I hadn't heard of Wilson since he comitted to Oregon had to make sure it was the same guy.
Yep, he transferred back closer to home. Had a brutal game today until the last 4 minutes. Started the game 0-9 and ended the game 4-13 including 2 late 3's. Finished the game with 14 points.
He's really a player without a position. He's really not quick enough to play small forward in college basketball where a lot of teams run 3 guards out there. But, at 6'7" 225, he's not quite big enough to play power forward either. He averaged 9.5 and 4.5 in 24 minutes per game for Marquette this year
He was going to Wisconsin (verbal as a sophomore) when 2 Wisconsin players he was buddies with encouraged him to decommit, Bo's offense would waste his talent. Buzz Huggins had been recruiting him all along, wooing mom and doing what he had to, and got him to decommit with a silent Marquette verbal. That's when the message boards went nuts.
Marquette's turned into a better situation for him with him getting out of all of the off the court stuff he's been involved with that would have gotten him kicked out of most schools.

In High School he reminded me of Devon Harris. I can't say whether he would fit Bo Ryan or not because his offense sucks though somehow Harris did.
WTF do you mean by Buzz Huggins? Why would he not recruit the best player in the state? I think Buzz Williams has worked for everything he has and deserves it.

Eh, you're not quite right either. A lot of the talk started when they were discussing his eligibility just because he was taking a summer school class or two and it got worse from there (before he decommitted).
I know his high school coach and the athletic director at his high school from growing up playing sports in Madison (but for what would be considered the cross town rival of where Blue went to school). A lot of the message board stuff started before he decomitted. It just became much worse after he backed off his commitment. He backed off because off after committing so early, but was still considering Wisconsin (many Badger fans assumed he would be back in Cardinal and White) until the message boards attacked him in extreme ways and he decided he needed to get out of Madison.
He still found his way into trouble, pretty sure he was involved in the bar fight last year (or 2 years ago?) Maymon leaving Marquette was a blessing for him. He's turning into a very good player.
OMFG a bar fight in which no charges were filed. FYI Maymon left before he even got on campus
Well he didn't respond well to being called Vander Orange.
Maymon's psycho father not being anywhere near that program was a blessing for the University. Was a great move for Jeronne as well, too bad he got hurt.
