RE: the MSU Line coach search....
i was just replying to the thread......lol
I didn't see it. Can I get a PM?
Shits getting deleted left and right
Best and latest rumor is, they're interviewing or at least considering as many as 7, with 2 favorites. And that MD is holding this VERY close to the vest, trying to keep it in-house until they decide, and can formally announce. While it's annoying to wait, it's also the professional way to handle it.
My Blood Runs Green.....
Wtf, the info is up on MSUs website, why are threads being deleted?
35,600 posts and counting since 09-09-2002. tRCMB Dead Pool Commissioner.
Either that or a joke. First a thread by SS, then one by Macks. Both used an out of date bio though, so it might have been a hoax.

Did you read the dates carefully?
Sounds like its just bad info and people linking and old bio
We're hiring Leroy Selmon?
The website said he joined the MSU staff on March 3rd, 2005
Rogue Leader= Obese coward who didn't attend MSU and has no college degree
Correct, from what I can tell, because there is no DL coach listed on the official MSU website page:
Hope that clarifies things . . .
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.
Not really since I can see who deleted it.

It's an old bio, his previous job was w/ the Jax Jaguars from '02.
So did the staff run a bad story or what? Lol
always better to give an explanation than just delete things and not say anything. especially around here.......

Please don't speculate.
From his wiki:
In 2005, after working in football camps around the United States, Selmon joined the staff of the Michigan State Spartans as defensive line coach, but he left Michigan State after one season. He worked as a private consultant to aspiring professional football players for two years.
I could understand a thread about a new HC, or maybe even a coordinator... But why the need for secrecy regarding the d-line coach?
i only care about spartans --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqsAJQc-NCY
Looking more and more like a staff reporter jumped the gun when he found an old bio....This also seems to show that the staff can and will moderate. That or they have super fast PM skills.
FWIW, I didn't delete the other threads, though I am going to lock any additional ones and keep this one open. I think past coaches still have "live" profiles and someone came across it, thinking it was up prior to an announcement and shot it over to Sean. I read the profile; it mentions this is his first year coaching at MSU . . . . and the start date is 2005 . Given that JLS let him go, I'd be shocked if Lucious Selmon was the next DL coach, but given JLS' ability to evaluate defensive assistants, maybe that's actually a plus .
Not been a good week for Sean . . .
