The driver, Jerald Bernard Robinson II, 21, of Canton, was incarcerated in the Lorain County Jail. He has been charged with drug possession, a fifth-degree felony, along with trafficking in drugs, a fourth-degree felony.
An Ohio man faces felony charges after Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers stopped his car and found nearly 450 grams of marijuana during a traffic stop on the Ohio Turnpike Sunday afternoon.
A pound of weed is a fudging lot of weed. Have fun in federal pound me in the ass prison.
Personal use, man.
He won't get prison time for a pound. I have two friends that got caught with more than a pound and neither went to prison. They both with to jail but not prison. He'll serve a couple of months in county jail and a felony on his record.
It's only weed and most judges care much less about it than other drugs.

Should we start a Pot-or-Not poll?
Also, you know they took a million pics of that at the station. And you know they set the shot up.

Check out the pile of scUM gear in the car at the time

Bernard Robinson Jr is gonna have to snack a bitch.
"losing Caleb Benenoch is a blow that Dantonio will never recover from. Izzo has lost it as well. Hoke and Beilein own the state."
The presence of hunter orange in that photo suggests there was a Spartan football fan in the car at some point.
Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read. - Groucho Marx
Nothing to see here. He was cut from the team a couple months ago, so this in no way reflects on Michigan Football. He was a model citizen until a couple months ago I am sure, he must have fallen fast. Thye've got some serious problems down in AA, denial isn't helping the issue and it's going to get much worse before it gets better.
Hail Hail to Michigan, the leaders in arrests!
I was worried this was about Bernard Robinson the basketball player, who was instrumental to UM 's NIT dynasty. I would hate to see that kind of legacy tarnished.
I believe he wasn't cut, but left on his own for being buried on the depth chart.. at least that's what UM fans tell me
The official term is Hoked. Robinson got Hoked and it was so devastating he immediately turned to a life of crime. I am 100% positive he in no way was involved in criminal activity while still part of Michigan Football. Was he still a student there though?
Like I said, they have some problems, this is like their 12th arrest and there have been several other off the field issues with their football team since Hoke arrived. The fans will blame it on Rich Rod's recruits, but Hoke is the one in charge there and it's apparent to anyone not a Michigan fan that he doesn't take off the field issues all that seriously, the Frank Clark felony conviction being exhibit 1.
What a waste of taxpayer money.
Weed laws are stupid
Some of you self righteous idiots need to realize that
Amen. Funny to knock a former scUM player, but marijuana???? Weed is soooo awesome!!!!
Weed laws are stupid, but it doesn't mean that people caught with an lb aren't total idiots too.
True. May be a dumb law but it still is the law. Don't be such an idiot.
this. taxpayers will have to pay big $$$ because someone just wanted to get a little high
East Lansing- A Drinking Town with a Football Problem
Sounds like you hang out with class acts.
Saying it's a law is a superficial defense.
Not too long ago, it was against the law for interracial couples to wed.
He could if they show he took it across state lines... federal trafficking.
Can we stop talking about politics and the law?
Lets get back to making fun of UM, which is what I find most useful about the Internet.
