Until the offensive line improves, my "new" scapegoat will be the same as the "old" one: Mark Staten.
We still have all of our goals in front of us!
It's a town full of losers. I'm pulling out of here to win!
IF we have another lackluster year, the blame falls squarely on Dantonio. He somehow avoided most of the blame for 2009 and 2012, yet he's the guy who makes all the hiring and firing decisions.
Do you believe everything anouncers say ?
"What is green and white and red all over? The Spartans pounding their chests after this bloodbath" -Mitch Albom 11/2/13
Geno will be on the bench this year. Brookens is taking over 3rd.
There's a time and a place for everything and it's called college.
offense will score 35 points a game next year, but the D will give up 38 points per game. everyone will jump back on the fire narDogg bandwagon.

Roushar is just a NAME. If the offense sucks again, insert new name here ________________.
2. Lou Anna Kay Simon
3. Johnny Spirit
What is that, a Titleist? A hole in one...
If said announcer is a former player and nfl coach. Why you so mad about that suggestion?
Keeping the sunshiners in check since 2000.
If that's true blame it on recruiting.
Well I tried to point out his shitty coaching this year on here and was roundly ignored.....too many boners for Roushar. BUT with him gone, I could see things heating up for Staten for sure.
You say that and my first thought was Matt Millen.
The indoctrinated will no longer be able to deny it, only defend it.
Some of you guys need to just fess up and admit you were wrong. You said no way would he be gone. He'll be hear next fall, guaranteed, blah blah blah. Just admit you were wrong. Now you are trying to mock people that rightfully criticized him. Why you are so invested in covering for that guy is beyond me. Coach D helped him find a graceful exit from East Lansing. Roushar was the leader of the most feckless offense in MSU history. He had no business as the OC. When you are the leader, its not called scapegoating. Its called being accountable.
Its five o'clock somewhere.
Nardog has already been the whipping boy. He has experience
You are calling out Fletch...lol
Not mad, just curious.
Who said what? Isaiah Thomas is a former player and coach and I really wouldn't trust him all that much. Everything he touches turns to shit. Jalen Rose is a former player and now commentator, he can sodomize himself sideways with a bar stool.

Like anyone saw this coming. This board wanted him fired and nobody could have predicted he would end up in the NFL.
If the announcers were better than the coaches on the sideline, they'd be on the sideline.
The best do, the next level of talent teaches, the last level makes up the critics.
Why wait and see? You're just going to do that anyway.
Duffy you seem like a decent guy, but weren't you on here guaranteeing he'd be back? Some of us felt there was just cause for Dantonio to relieve him, and that it in fact it was a distinct possibility. Dantonio helped him save face by helping him find a job first. BT OCs don't go around applying for position coach jobs unless they are fired, or unless their boss is fired.
People are on here doing contortions trying to salvage his reputation for some reason. My guess is its really just a matter of people not wanting to admit they were wrong. Roushar was not up to the job. This is what most of us saw, and that in the end is what Dantonio saw, or Roushar would still be here. Not everything that happend was the OC's fault, but much of it was, and he was the one in charge. I will move on from this now. Gotta go to bed anyway. A new OC is on the way. Hopefully the offense will score some points next year.
How do you know Dantonio helped him get this job, or wanted him out ? Pure speculation. BTW, I have never posted here that Roushar was a good OC. I simply said he would be back because he would not be fired.
