More like putting too much air IN...
I do my own, she does hers. She does the kiddos laundry ( thank god ) and I do all the towels. We try to do everything as close to 50/50 as we can, except when it comes to yardwork. She mows the yard while I lay in my hammock drinking an ice cold beer. Nothing like an ice cold beer and the smell of grass.
Yes, because we both want to live there. We finally have 2 incomes now starting last month, so now we can finally move out. Mine income was enough to pay the bills, and nothing more (not even save). I'm still looking for a real job too, but it's not easy. At least I have something for now though.
I do my laundry, she does the rest. I do the cooking during the week, she cleans up afterwards. She does the grocery shopping, because she doesn't like the way I do it lol. She probably does more than me, but I try to help as much as possible.
The complaining comes from having to sort, fold and put away the clothes. That's the sucky part and where it becomes an annoying chore.
That said, I've never let any of my girlfriends (still not married) do my laundry. I'm just too picky of how I want/need my clothes washed and dried.

I've done all my own laundry since I was about 15. My wife does hers and we split our daughters. It's a decent setup.
Wow, some of you waited til college to have to do your own laundry? I probably have been doing my own since 13-14 where we had a washer and dryer I could use.
This. There are a lot of mama's boys out there.
Don't share jobs, it only leads to trouble. My jobs are grocery shopping, cooking, bills and fixing shit, hers are laundry, cleaning and acting slutty on command.
Also, according to science, you don't get laid very often.
My husband does the wash, but is "encouraged" not to do the drying, as he puts everything together and overloads the dryer. I told him that it is typical that men feign incompetence so they are banned from doing certain chores. He "wore" that but/and it is the deal around our house that, since we both work, if a job needs to be done, just do it.
Yes, I do laundry. So does Mrs. Mizer. Who cares, the machines do most of the work.
Guinness makes you drop mud.
You're wrong there jodi. Men are incompetent. It's not an act.
I do ALL the laundry in our house. I'm a control freak, but after finding the following items in the dryer over the course of several years : lipstick, gum, candy wrapper, chapstick, tampon (unused).....it's an unwritten rule that Dad does the laundry.
Wife and I will be celebrating our 39th wedding anniversary later this year. We always said, and raised our kids that way too, "There is no such thing as women's work and men's work... there is just WORK. We've always shared chores, each doing cooking, cleaning or laundry as our schedules fit one but not the other. Wife prefers though to do "special laundry" which are all her special frabric type of clothes and I now do all heavy lifting, yard, snow stuff..in part because of her physical condition. That answer it for you?
ok, your posts are making me laugh.
when I read your comments I get nervous, slightly uneasy or edgy and wonder how your wife copes.
Just some general observations man.
+1 (for some reason...)

Yes, the rest is too complicated to expound on. Kids are long gone, married 41+ yrs.

I just assumed the cleaning lady or maid does your laundry.
Lots of great answers today. I asked the question because I grew up with my Mom doing all the laundry, but my wife and I both do laundry. Our tiff part wasn't a big deal and probably doesn't apply to most on here, but it made me wonder what arrangements other couples have. Honestly I assumed most men didn't do much of their laundry. Being that I've done my own I'm rather glad to hear a lot of guys say they do their own also.
With the amount of porn he watches, I'm not sure having either of those women in his house is a good idea.
Yes and I cook too. I love to cook so it works. Why should she do my shit?
This country was built by people who worked hard then went home and had just a few too many every night. Then went back to work.
