Gores looks like the biggest douche ever.
Stuck, Monroe and Knight need to play muuuuch better for this team to win some games. Obvious statement...I know.
Hopefully Stuckey's migraine issues are resolved.
Interested to see a healthy Maggette on this team. Bench already looks solid. A healthy Corey should help even more.
He looks permanently stuck in the 80's.
LMAO, World Peace just did a postgame interview with Ryan Field and did a special shoutout to John Green.
If they should have taken anyone over Knight, it is Klay Thompson. Walker wasn't good last year.
"Put your mother in a straight-jacket you punk ass white boy." ~ Mike Tyson
I'm confident that Knight will be a cornerstone because of his work ethic and smarts. I really wish they had someone like Chauncey to tutor Brandon.
You're an idiot. He's the 2nd best player on this team (after Monroe) if not the best. It's 4 games into the season dude, 78 more to go.
Better start playing like it
"If you're worried about Wolverine fans, just move to Pasadena. You'll never have to deal with 'em."
We'll have to wait and see but he really is a pretty talented player. Also, the Pistons opening schedule is a bear for a young team.
This team will settle in after Stuckey, Monroe and Knight begin to play at least decent basketball. I hope Stuckey's issues are not serious. He has had a disastrous first 3 games. I expect him to finish the season avergaring 17-18 pts to go along with 5 rebounds and 5 assists with solid defense, and an improved 3 pt shot.
Monroe also looks rough to start the season. He was at 15.5 and 10 latst year and should be able to improve upon that.
knight should average 14 and 6 with good defense. He is still super young and playing the toughest spot in the league. I wish there was a tutor to guide him.
Prince should be steady 11-14 pts a game and 5 rebounds.
The bench is a major infusion of energy. Singler, Drummond, Jerebko, English and, Bynum have all given this team a lift. I think they should start playing Kravtsov just so he can start to get a fell for the NBA game. He's an aggressive big man who likes to block shots, rebound and dunk everything.
The X-Factor is Corey Maggette. You have a ton of energy guys and shooters off the bench. Add an aggressive and proven scorer like Maggette and this team should start winning some games.
Translation - 30 wins maximum.
Egotism is the anesthetic that dulls the pain of stupidity. - Frank Leahy.-- If you're going to be stupid, be smart about it. - Mike Milbury
I want to see Monroe and Drummond on the floor together. If we were going to see it, last night was prob the game though.
No way. The East is horrible, they will still win around 35 games and finish in the 8th-9th pick in the draft. I think they start out 0-8, but finish around .500 the rest of the way
2nd best player? Not that I care much for Tayshaun (should have been traded 4 years ago) but he is clearly more talented at his position and at handling the ball. If not to get rid of the contract I'm pretty certain Stuckey would have been gone instead of Gordon.
Stuckey is pretty much a black hole when he gets the ball
Tayshaun in his prime was better than Stuckey right now but Stuckey is a damn good player with a decent outside shot and real skills going to the hoop. He's a converted shooting guard which is why he's a good, not great assist guy. However to say he's a black hole is wrong. He averaged nearly 6 APG last season.
Career 27.5% 3 point shooter.
His best year ever was last year when he shot ~32%
That's not his game. His game is taking the ball to the hoop.
Stuckey has doubled his season average in points in just the 1st quarter against the Nuggets. For those just tuning in - that's a bad thing.
Drummond hit a 3 with the shot clock expiring...first attempt of his NBA career...nothing but net
2 posts above that you said he had a decent outside shot
27.5 isn't decent
Pistons down 7 at the half. just gotta play some D
Box out and play some fucking defense. Fuck.
The pundits called this game for the Nuggets hours ago.
Playing some better d and they have good energy. Keep it up stones
