Lions would like to swoop in and sign all three FA visitors today: RB Reggie Bush, S Glover Quin, DE Jason Jones. Lions team to watch today

Rogue Leader= Obese coward who didn't attend MSU and has no college degree
Do they have enough cap space to do that? And also sign drafted players?
I assume some restructuring went on to make this possible.
A man's gotta eat!
Still have a lot of time to restructure and release guys.
Glad we kept Houston. He isn't outstanding, but he was very solid last year. We should really looked at Huff. He hasn't lived up to expectations, but he can replace Delams. Who knows he maybe one of those guys that leaves Oakland and becomes a much better player

Glover Quin is a much better player and younger.
He is from the Texans right? I like his game
If we can snag Quin then Delmas is toast right?
Of all the FA's we are after, If we are able to sign Quin, I will consider this FA a success. The news on Houston is big as well, a solid corner overall.
Spievey still worries me though, not a big fan of his game and it looks like he will be a starter next year. Amari needs to pick up his game.
"Stats are for Losers." - Pat "Nardawg" Narduzzi
I actually like Spievey. He is an incredible open field tackler. His coverage can be suspect though.
Ravens release S Bernard Pollard
he was their leading tackler last season
I think Speivey and Carey will battle it out in camp with Silva in play as well. In other words in no way has Amari locked down a starting spot (which is good news)
Don't be surprised if the Lions grab a S in the 2nd or 3rd round of the draft either. Cyprien, Ried, Elam could all start.
Suh is restructuring.
@davebirkett: Don't know all the terms yet, but Ndamukong Suh will do another simple restructure to help clear cap room so the Lions can afford FAs
cool .. Suh doing the right thing helping the Lions make a big 'Splash' in FA.
sorry, couldn't help myself. You are welcome ABC.
He shows flashes, but overall has been a letdown so far in his career. He needs to improve big time. Watching him getting burnt in coverage for big plays time and time again is getting old.
@davebirkett: News coming fast for Lions today RT @caplannfl DT Jason Jones agreed to a deal with the Lions, according to his agent, Mike McCartney.
Wow thank god if he didn't do that it would eb a kick to the nuts.
If we were playing the Pats, I'd want him.
Jason Jones to the Lions, good signing. He can play both DE and DT.
Also, Chris Houston signed for 5 years/$25 million.
And it could keep coming, Suh did it:

Badmouth Suh all you want but I wish a certain QB would follow suit
I am shocked Suh did it, good for him tho.
Also Stafford restructuring would benefit the Lions much more if he does it next year, not sure why it would matter this year or next but they mentioned that alot on 97.1 yesterday.
It sucks Delmas couldn't stay healthy, was a major difference when he was in the game. A really good safety makes this D much better.
Avril was bad last year, was mad about contract situation. And, of course, KVB was done. Back-ups looked better.
If Det lands one of the 3 safeties they are after, I'd call the FA period a success. If they also sign Bush, I say major success.
I'm guessing if this happens Det takes the DE at 5, then goes OL and then best player available.
Stafford did it last year. no reason to expect him to do it again this year.
We. Have. Bush!

#Lions and Reggie Bush agree to terms according to http://ProFootballTalk.com . Press conference set for 1:45, not sure if it's about Bush.
