Don't forget they already have Eric Decker and Deymarius Thomas. I don't see why they would bother with Welker really.
Your point? You don't pay someone 6-10 million dollars a year to be a slot receiver when you already have two big time receivers as is. Just not a smart move. Especially in that offense where the receivers are constantly shifting around.
Exactly. Work the underneath same way he thrived in NE. Ultimate outlet valve and mis-match WR.

Hold off on Glover Quin's agreement with Detroit. Another source said, Not so fast. Situations in free agency, as we see, can be fluid.
Thank you, Denicos.
Former 49ers S Dashon Goldson agreed to terms on a five-year deal with Tampa Bay. Really. We're sure.
Nice combo with Mark Barron.
If you are as close as Denver is, and you think it takes you to the next level, then you do.
No doubt. Their DL might be shaping up into one of the best young DL's in the league, too. LB corps/CB's? Not so much.
Jason La Canfora ✔ @JasonLaCanfora
With Delmas likely to DET, Goldson likely to TB and Quin now w/DET, Ed Reed sitting pretty. HOU, SF, IND, NE among those who could use him
Delmas & Quinn?!?
But the problem is was the offense the reason they weren't Super Bowl champs? Was it because they lacked an underneath slot receiver? Absolutely not.
Well apparently they didn't score enough points to win it so maybe it is?
With our salary cap issues there some questions about how smart this is, but Quinn is suppose to be like Isiah Lewis and be a reliable Nickle back. They may also take Spievey out of passing downs.
Tania Ganguli @taniaganguli
ESPN's initial report withdrawn, and we are also told that the #Texans are still in play for S Glover Quin.
@ttwentyman Lions have agreed to terms on a five-year deal with S Glover Quin, according to league source.
Dave Birkett @davebirkett
Quin to Lions is a done deal per team's website. He hasn't left Detroit yet

Titans reached agreement on a three-year, $10 million deal with former Jets RB Shonn Greene.
Wes Welker playing alongside Peyton Manning? According to numerous reports, a deal with the Broncos is 'very likely'.
Decker and Thomas outside? Welker in the slot?
Looks like Shonn Greene got more money guaranteed from the Titans than Reggie Bush did from the Lions. To back up Chris Johnson.
Evan Silva @evansilva
Gross. RT @MikeGarafolo $4.5 million guaranteed on Shonn Greene's deal.
Suh restructured, and Bush is only counting as $2 mil against the cap next year, and their is still the outside hope that Stafford re-structures.
Javon needs to leave that dumpster fire
I think he's gone. This link lists him as a UFA, which would make sense, as a 4-yr. contract given to a rookie in 2009.
Ex-Bear LB Geno Hayes to Jax.
Bear FA LB Nick Roach talking to Oakland.
The Jaguars signed Bears free agent linebacker Geno Hayes to a one-year deal on Wednesday, the team said. The team also confirmed the release of wide receiver Laurent Robinson, a move reported earlier in the day. The 25-year-old Hayes will work again with Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley.
The Raiders spent Tuesday losing players by their choice and to the offers of others, but theyre starting to work on getting some players to make their way to the team. Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reports that defensive tackle Pat Sims is now visiting with the team in Oakland.
Damn. Bye, Sammie Lee, you weren't getting paid that in Detroit to be a backup. Good luck to you in Tennessee.
DT Samie Lee Hill reached agreement on a three-year, $11.4 million deal, including $4 million guaranteed with the Titans.
Hayes was a guy, loss of depth, but that is all.
Roach is a good SLB, but he struggled when shifted to the middle to replace Urlacher. It wouldn't surprise me if Oakland over pays him or pays him as a mike
Go Bears, Blackhawks, White Sox, and Pioneers.
Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand
