One of my favorite players. Think he can be very good as a starter.
Justin Rogers @Justin_Rogers
Humble is thrown around a lot talking about athletes, but @SamMoi91 is legitimately a humble man. Happy he got paid by the Titans.
Wouldn't surprise me if Oakland overpaid anyone.
-Now, see, that was just mean-spirited, and more to the point, aimed at a prior administration (hey, Al, take the bandaid off! We want to see what's under there!!).
Thank you, Denicos.
Welker to Denver done deal.
Go Bears, Blackhawks, White Sox, and Pioneers.
Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand
John Elway @johnelway
Agreed to terms on a 2-yr deal with Wes Welker. Excited to have Wes join the Broncos. His production & toughness will be a great asset!
Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter
Denver gave Wes Welker a two-year deal.

Bears "up against the cap" after signing LT Bushrod & TE Bennett.
The dust began settling Wednesday for the Chicago Bears following their triumphant dive into free agency. After signing left tackle Jermon Bushrod (fi
they freed up some cutting the Spaeth/Davis, and are/already have cut Toenia(however the f*** you spell it). They can sign Jennings or Tillman to an extension to lower their cap hit this year, but figure all of the rest of their moves are going to be bargain shopping. I figure they bring in Urlacher (booo) another LB, and an interior OL on cheap deals and then the rest is the draft (my guess is they now trade down from 20 to get more picks)
With all the cap room they have, and need a WR, some talk on twitter wondering if Patriots might make a run at Victor Cruz, front load his contract so Giants can't match, and give up pick #29 in the draft to get him...that would be a scary thought.

Tom E. Curran @tomecurran
Spoke to someone close to Tom Brady. Beyond enraged at contract details that netted Broncos Wes Welker. "Disgrace" "disservice" were used.

Former #Lions backup could start RT: @MikeMcCartney7: Thrilled for QB @drewstanton to sign a 3 year deal with the @AZCardinals
No shit. He gave the Pats a huge discount at 3 years/$27 million, he probably expected them to use some of the money they saved to sign one of his favorite targets. 2 years $12 million for Welker is nothing.
It's either Drew or Hoyer.
Or do they still have Lindley?

Sounds like Roach didn't make the cut in Oakland.
Albert Breer @AlbertBreer
Per source, ex-Browns LB Kaluka Maiava signed a 3-year, $6 million deal with Oakland.
Think so, he's a rookie.
Cardinals signed QB Drew Stanton to a three-year contract.
29-year-old Stanton immediately becomes the favorite to start at quarterback in Arizona, although that'll be subject to change. Stanton learned Bruce Arians' offense in Indianapolis last season, holding the clipboard for Andrew Luck. Stanton is 2-2 in his career as a starter with a 5:9 TD-to-INT ratio. He possesses plenty of arm strength and plus-yardage scrambling ability, but has scattershot accuracy and is not a long-term solution.
Cards also picked up CB Jerraud Powers who played on the Colts under Arians.
Now the Cards just need to pick up Javon Ringer and I'll watch them every Sunday.
I'll watch every game Stanton or Hoyer starts regardless, that was a lie.
Man, I'm sick of hearing potshots at Drew about accuracy and not being "a long-term solution." He got screwed 8 ways from Sunday by Mike Martz, and was slowly being put together by Scott Linehan when he hit free agency, and sat behind Andrew Luck. I'm not, in the end of it, surprised that Arians wanted him. I would also not be surprised if he started for the Cardinals for 3-4 years.
Fallout from the Quin signing:
Jason La Canfora @JasonLaCanfora
Ravens safety Ed Reed is visiting the Texans tomorrow, flying in tonite. Possible meetings with 49ers and Colts to follow
Rick Gosselin @RickGosselinDMN
If you're still counting, 11 starting safeties have now been cut this offseason. Game is moving away from tacklers toward coverage.
Honestly, Drew did not look like the most accurate guy in Detroit. He was behind a Detroit O line though.
He is scrappy, a leader and a competitor. Watching Hoyer and Drew compete on Hard Knocks would be fun.
Broncos not done adding, finalizing a deal with DL Terrance Knighton now. will be done shortly
Drew has never been the most accurate guy. He has a big arm though, and they have Larry Fitzgerald's vortex hands.
Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter
Cardinals announced they have agreed to terms with S Yeremiah Bell and LB Lorenzo Alexander.
Forget if I mentioned, but CB Drayton Florence signed 1-year deal with Carolina.
And fuck you, Pro Football Focus :
17.30: SIGNING! From his agent Mike McCartney we’ve learned that Drew Stanton has signed with the Arizona Cardinals on a three-year deal. Yep that’s how depressed the quarterback market is. There’s been some hype regarding Stanton but the guy we remember is one who when he got a chance to play in both 2009 and 2010 amassed a -14.6 grade on just 357 snaps. So in other words he should fit right in with guys like John Skelton and Ryan Lindley.
Don't the Cardinals have Hoyer too?
