It sounds like an audio compression artifact to me.
I'm seeing some 2011 Dead Pool points flashing across my screen
I thought they would have mentioned Bubba.
We are the SPARTANS and They are NOT!!! [spartan 2]
Ugh, I hated The Artist. What a garbage movie.
tRCMB - Where MSU fans eat their own.
Meryl looks great.
That apparently is a surprise.
Davis was picked to win by pretty much everybody.
Anyone. Anyplace. Anytime.
I wish Warrior got nominated for Best Picture, especially over Tree of Life. It's like an endurance contest to sit through the movie.
Yup, a movie about old Hollywood, celebrated by Hollywood.
Predictable as always.
You'll never see that French guy from The Artist in a big movie again. Just like the Beningi dude who won about 10 years ago.
Next year I can just see it...
THE DARK KNIGHT RISES
2013 Best Picture winner.
Screw the French
Those stuffy bastards won't ever nominate a comic book movie.
And Nolan's been fucked over so many times, he must have banged someone's wife.
Has anyone seen The Artist?
I did. Hated it with a passion. Basically sucking off Hollywood, considered an "homage" to the silent film era.
That guy died like... Right after
For the love of Trevor...™
According to Wiki, Benigni is still very much alive.
I would trade that guy for just one more Alan Ruck film. Why did he have to leave us so soon?
The Iron Lung
The Tattoo Artist
The Girl with the Dragon Breath
I knew it must've been a weak year when Moneyball, Jonah Hill and Brad Pitt were all nominated. That movie was average at best.
Utterly average movie.
Additionally, while I generally like Jonah Hill, I actually thought he was bad/terrible in this movie. Meanwhile, everyone was saying he stole the show. I left thinking I must've missed something.
I think what was interesting about Hill in Moneyball is you have a 20 something guy that has been thrown into stereotypically fat funny man role actually given a "serious" roll. I don't think it was oscar nomination worthy. But It was good considering what he normally is type casted into.
This kid slimmed down and looked decent for awhile and he is back to being fat again. It must be in the genes.
You're surprised that the Italian guy who won an Oscar for an Italian movie hasn't been heard from in the US since? And you're going on a limb to predict that the French guy, who speaks limited English, will not be in a big US movie again?
Don't think -- it can only hurt the ballclub
I am afraid that the whole world is closer to moral foreclosure.
Moneyball was the best movie I've seen since The Fighter. I'm not a big Brad Pitt fan but I thought he was excellent in it. And I think Jonah Hill deserved an oscar but no way is he going to beat someone playing a gay guy when all the voters are gay.
