tOfficial Dantonio putting Hecklinski in his place thread

    Convincing you of what?

I just provided the facts: Dantonio had 15 minutes, and the format confusion occurred because Dantonio stayed and interrupted.

I'll let you draw your own conclusions.

You wouldn't be on here if it wasn't a big deal.

    Go home bitch!

    Tinfoil hat time:

It's interesting that they thought Coach D was originally going to leave after his initial address. Did SCum know this as well? If they did, then it's not surprising that they'd try to turn the whole thing into a SCum recruiting pitch without an MSU rep in the room. Coincidence?

Maybe Coach D found out about it ahead of time & decided to stay and put a stop to it. shrug

    Guinness makes you drop mud.

I have no problem with Coach D doing this.

The days of MSU knowing its role and cowering before Michigan are over.

This. It brought tears to my eyes.

  • I'm glad someone like Coach D with a pair of wheel barrow balls isn't afraid to stand up to this type of nonsense that goes on at UM.

  • The UM dickheads at my office were crying about this. One guy pipes up and says Dantonio is just like Tressel. I told him that Dantonio is a lot like Tressel. He's beating Michigan's ass quite regularly just like Tressel.

    I know, cool story.

No. Dantonio was supposed to give a 15 minute presentation then leave when they started the 90 minute session. He gave his speech and then stayed. He interrupted Hecklinski even though he didn't know how the format was supposed to work, because he didn't want it to be about UM recruiting.

Larry Merx, the guy running the thing said, "I told him we would have arranged things differently had we known he was going to stay, We'd have changed the whole situation. What happened, Mark's a good guy. He helps us out a lot. He's a good guy for high school coaches. He got to a point where he'd spoken and couldn't leave. He didn't want to jump ship and wanted to stick around. We'd have changed the whole situation. Because Mark wanted to be good for us, it wound up having the Michigan coach think he had more time to speak, and Mark lost his patience a little bit."

Here is how the shit ended; Dantonio pulled u of m's pants down again and bitch slapped them in front of the country once again. All the walmart wolverines can do at this point is cry about "fairness" and fucking rules on a panel. Does anyone think Dantonio will lose one minute of sleep over this lol

He'll hit the bed fall asleep wake up and start thinking of more ways to keep MSU on top the league.

  • ATTEMPT OF PANEL DISCUSSION!

  • "Former DL coach on our staff had to move away this year, coached at another school and is working the MHSFCA clinic. Was working the door when today's incident went down. Here is the deal.

    1. Others have already linked the schedule of events for the clinic, so I won't do it here, but these are STANDARD things for recruiting. There were reps of schools at D1, D2, and D3 ALL THERE to speak. The idea is "hey HS coaches, here is how you get your kids recruited to for ANY level of college". You were SUPPOSE to talk about recruiting, including how you recruit, so Dantonio's MSU commercial was wrong, not Heck.

    2. I don't know what Heck's time allotment was supposed to be, but 15 mintues does make sense given the large block of time that was set aside.

    3. As I said, this was a standard deal, we've all attended them before. I've NEVER been to one where there is a Q & A with a panel. So the idea that Heck talked too long and was using up the Q & A time, well i guess it's possible but that does NOT fit with the half dozen of these I've seen before. Tlaking for 15 minutes would be more standard.

    4. Yes, it was as bad as it sounds, Dantonio totally cut him off, as rudely as we've heard. And EVERY coach there, EVERY ONE, thought MD came off as a giant *** in the deal. No one stuck up for him or excused it or laughed it off. When it happened, you could hear a pin drop, the ultimate in awkward. It was bad, and he looked bad, to EVERYONE.

    5. What's amazing about this is I've heard Enos talk, and he starts EVERY session, every offense, QB, X & O, run game, quick pass game, screen game, you name it, every clinic session he gives, the first 15 minutes is about CMU and recruiting. Guess what! That's how MSU coaches work a clinic too! Those aren't even about recruiting! Talk about pot, kettle, and black.

    6. DOn't know if there is video or not, I"ll work on finding that out.

MD took a big hit with state of Michigan HS coaches.

And here is the BEST PART!!!

Wanna know my MD was so upset? He was upset before it ever started, because for the SECOND year in a row, the moment you walk in the building there is a huge table spread out with all of UM's camp and clinic info, brochours, practice visit info, etc. A grand spread. And for the SECOND year in a row, MSU's table is small and stuck off to the side in a corner. Buddy said the entire MSU staff was PISSSSSSED OFF the moment they arrived yesterday, and the bolted out of there as soon as they were done today. THe UM staff, meanwhile, is still there mingling with the HS coaches and putting on a very nice representation of the U of M. In fact my buddy got to sit with Funk all along and shoot the **** about OL for a half hour last night."

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

Guys, you should maybe set aside the whole scUM fan reaction thing for a second and actually consider for just a second how this might sit with some of the HS coaches who were there. Perception is everything and cool, calm, and collected are not three words that come to mind when people think of your leader right now.

It took you three months to open that dumb SCum mouth of yours?clap
Dantonio will always have a good reputation at Michigan High Schools. He caught you trying to pull a fast one.

Pride comes before the fall....Ring a bell? Just another senile SCum fan.

Being outrecruited by SCum isn't a overnight sensation. It has happend for years and years. The only difference is, we have a coach that can develop NFL talent now.

  • The more I hear about it the funnier it is. Especially if Dantonio is the one who had bad information, that makes it better, because you know what, fcuk Michigan.

You know who the hell would do something exactly like that? Bo Schembechler, that's who. Bo would do something exactly like that if it was an Ohio State assistant talking and that's why Michigan fans loved Bo.

Honestly, after him recruiting as the MSU head coach for the last 5 years, they already know that he's a stand-up guy who isn't going to lie to their kids like some people and he's going to take care of them. If any coach suddenly changed their mind after 5 years because he shut up some nobody UofM position coach from blabbing about UofM, then they are going to be really surprised when UofM isn't recruiting their kids anyway while they are giving MSU the cold shoulder. I guess we'll just have to do what we have continued to do...recruit Ohio area and other regional kids.

If you're insinuating that Michigan HS coaches think any less of Dantonio after years and years of relationship building, etc because Dantonio interrupted a UM coach at a clinic, then I would question the intelligence of those coaches, then your intelligence.
