I think we will have a good idea by tomorrow night.
If they beat San Jose, they will still be alive. If they lose, they will be on life support because we all know they wont be beating Chicago on Friday.
1. It's Chicago
2. It's in Chicago
3. That will be on the back end of a back-to-back
4. Chicago doesn't play the night before.
5. It's Chicago.
Look at it this way: Even if they win half...say 4-4-1...that's 9 points. That puts the Wings at 52 pts. That means Dallas would have to go some combination of 4-3-2, 5-4, 3-2-4...basically anything that gets you 10 pts. Against their schedule, that is asking a lot.
Bottom line: they need Filppula and Franzen to get going NOW.
That game on Sunday is a perfect example of what this team is in desperate need for. Down one goal, and they need SOMEONE, ANYONE, to step up and put the puck in the net.
They can't afford to lose like that at this point.
What would be a good way to phrase this so we could find out? I'll pass whatever question you want along and post up the answer.
an even tougher question is do we want to see the streak go on and also have to sit and watch the wings get swept by shitcago? or would we just rather them miss the playoffs and not have to watch that
i only care about spartans --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqsAJQc-NCY
this. nail on the head.
Honestly I don't know how I'd word it to Coach . In my experience with him, he can turn from pleasant to real fast. I just think that he does not think the young guys are ready, nor can they beat out the older guys, regardless of how bad the older guys may be. Take from that what you want, but I'm not sure how I'd ask that lol.
Do you like the song Chelsea Dagger?
Do you also like nonstop chants of "DETROIT SUCKS"
Since PR put this link in the wrong place, i wanted to help him
The Detroit Red Wings and goaltender Jimmy Howard are close to finalizing a six-year, $31.8 million contract extension. Through 33 games this season, the 29-year-old Howard is 16-12-4 with a 2.41 goals-against average and .917 save percentage. His 16 victories currently places him 11th in the NHL.
so long suckhawks, enjoy all your garbage games against the west coast. welcome back maple leafs and the rest of the REAL original 6 teams
Well, he was pretty blunt in saying Sheahan needed more seasoning. You don't hear him saying that about Andersson or Lashoff -- he'll say they "made mistakes," or didn't play aggressively enough, but he's never (at least this season ) said that about the guys who have come up and worked their way into the lineup.
Not sure where that leaves you, but...my two cents anyway.
Thank you, Denicos.
Official, sort of. Never mind the URL, or the fact that the "source" is the same TSN article you linked to, or that Howard says there is only " 'little stuff' left to iron out" before he signs.
"Closer," I guess, is better than "official."
Howard declined to give details this morning and the team says it has nothing to announce.
Getting swept by chicago? Too funny.
so you're saying we'd have a chance?
Only time you don't have a chance is if you're not playing, so.....
Dude is 3-15 lifetime in playoffs when Wings score 3 goals or less..
I'm gonna be there tonight. . . so they better fucking win
Remind yourself. Nobody built like you, you design yourself.
Wings in Chicago tonight.
Quincey just got an interference call for something I used to do all the time to opposing forwards forechecking my defensive partner.
If Quincey weren't terrible he would know he shouldn't do that.
The call on Cleary was bullshit and Crawford should have been called for a dive.
I have also never seen a team get more shots blocked than the Wings do. They get nothing to the net.
This really is true. It's sad, and I don't know why it happens, but they get a lot blocked.
On a different note, I'm stuck watching on NHLNet and, therefore, I am stuck with the Shitcago announcing team. God they're horrible.
Said no one
You can put it on the board, YES!
