yah brainfart, as khan tweeted earlier, bottom 2 today were
Malik's feeling the pressure......
I'm gonna put things a little more bluntly this time around. If I've changed during that period of time, I've become a little less worried about speaking my mind and a little less likely to "give a shit."
We're moving into a packed period of time in which season previews will hit the wires like pairs of shoes over the power lines near a marijuana dealer's house in Ann Arbor, and this morning....
Thank you, Denicos.
He's not the only one, and not necessarily wrong in doing so. There are a lot of good teams in the West and 4 good teams in the Central. The Central has gone from the easiest division in the league two years ago to the toughest in the league today. It will be no easy task getting past Nashville, Chicago, and St. Louis. Nobody cares about Columbus, they're just a perennial clusterfuck.
Ken Holland even made comment a couple days ago that they would be fighting for the playoffs, or something to that ilk. There's a lot of youth this year, a lot of inexperience, and a number of question marks. It will be an interesting year, and I think you'll see Kenny make his first big deadline move in a long time.
I like when George gets angry, happy hockey day everyone!
Todd Bertuzzi has mono and will miss a chunk of time per Babcock.
Fishy. Excuse not to play him in anticipation of a buyout, perhaps?

Doubt it. He's modestly paid at $2 million per season.
Me too, but can't you let a guy dream?
I don't hate the contract (though i could do without the second year) but there's a couple exciting things we could do with the roster spot.

I like Bert and I have for quite a while now.
I actually root for him too, and like his game when he happens to be on it. But I also think Gus could make it work on that third line. And we certainly don't want to have to worry about roster spots if we're committed to finding room for Tatar next year.
I don't think it'll happen, just spitballing really.
Things, especially this year, will work themselves out. A lot...LOT....of players will be "injured" at some point. It's going to happen due to the compressed schedule. We'll see Gus, don't worry. And again, I think Kenny will make a splash at the deadline that will help alleviate any roster logjam.
Bert is at the very least a Shoot out Specialist.
I agree we'll see a fair bit of Nyquist. I just hope, whatever his role is, they give him a chance to settle in.
As far as a splash, I'm hopeful, but we've been waiting for that for a while. At any rate it's going to be super interesting.
They're at 13 right now with Eaves being a "healthy" scratch. Helm is out for about another week, Bert is probably a couple. If another guy goes down, we will likely see the Swede on this side of the state.
Indeed. My guess is Samuelsson's groin will keep acting up, and we'll be swapping out 1 Swede for another.
That lasted six minutes
The Datsyuk/Z/Brunner line will be fun to watch
You might not want to expect Lidstrom-level production from a guy in the first period of the first game back after 5 days working out with his team.
That was just ugly.
Blues are steamrolling us so far.
I would expect a five year old in his first practice to make that play
The blues love One Direction
That line's going to score a lot of goals at home. Against guys like Backes on the road, not so much.
With Mule and Kronwall that's an exciting PP unit.
