News is coming out for the game. This has been the most anticipated GTA game since San Andreas most likely. Lots of info on IGN. Any info anyone finds, post it here.
For the next week, IGN is your one-stop shop for everything Grand Theft Auto V. We have videos, screens, articles, previews and interviews with the...
What is that, a Titleist? A hole in one...
Apparently New trailer is out. Damn Sandy still has my internet limited
not fake.. Pre-order now.. coming out spring 2013
Man I am so jacked about this game. Excited to see they are making it more like San Andreas with the country side terrain and such instead of just all city like GTA4. GTA4 was fun but got boring after a while because it all felt the same after a while. Also excited to see the return of planes. Hopefully you can steal trains again in the one as well.
I was doing some reading up on the gameplay and it sounds like the cops are going to be a real pain in the ass in this one. Said they will try to pull you over if you are clearly breaking the speed limit and that even after you elude them with multiple stars, they will continue to look for a person matching your description for 24-48 game hours so you have to keep an eye out I guess. I'll try to find that link that I was reading that on because it also had other info.
Also, I haven't read up much on the storyline of the game, is that Tommy Vercetti from Vice City as the main character?
WOTS is that you're going to be able to move in and out of the storyline with multiple characters. I think Vercetti might be involved.
tRCMB - Visit at your own risk of being disgusted.
not vercetti, heres all the info
Say hello to your new best buddies, you’re going to be spending a lot of time with the next year.
I bet at the end you choose one and betray and kill the other 2
Is the car that falls off the trailer at the 0:52 mark an Aston Martin DB5 (like the one from Skyfall)???? If so, it moved. Hell, it moved at the thought of it being that car.
Dang. I was kinda excited about Vercetti returning.
Don't think this is true Dan Houser has been saying they have no intention of making the GTA's realistic they are suppoe to be be crazy and fun.
Rockstar has been making the cops better and better with their games. It wouldn't surprise me if they did make them pretty tough in GTA V, but with that said I'm not sure how much more you're going to be able tax the CPUs in the consoles.
The new trailer is sick. The Jeep coming out of the plane -- the tits!
Here's what I know: There are three PLAYABLE protagonists. That is awesome and I was reading on IGN how there are missions where you choose who you want to play with when they are all together. For example, you can invade a building with one guy, fly the helicopter with the other, or you can arm the machine gun in the copter. All three characters are easy to switch, it's just a press of the button.
The map is also INSANELY huge. Rockstar says that the GTA V map can fit the maps of GTA: San Andreas, GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption -- combined, with room to spare!! That's amazing. I also have a feeling there will be some underwater missions.
All in all, I think this will be the best selling game in PS3 history. I think it will sell 30 million copies on Xbox and PS3 combined, and I wish it was spring already.
What would get me super hard is if you can do 3 player co-op online for the campaign.
I read something about possible co-op in campaign, but it would just be a few missions here and there.
I read the same about the map size. I think that is what I am most excited about. I like exploring the map and just doing random crap which is why I got bored with GTA4 quickly. Not much to explore. Just all city.
i have never really got into GTA, played all of Red Death Redemption though and will hopefully be able to get this, it looks amazing
Anyone play the multiplayer gang mod for SA on PC? You formed a gang with your friends and pushed drugs, competed and fought against rival gangs, not perfect but it was a shit ton of fun. Hope they can pull of something like that.
One thing I can say I've never done on any GTA is played multiplayer. Am I missing out? Is it fun?
That's the plan, doing the gang thing like max Payne 3
Here is a review of a Demo. I have also heard that Golf and other mini games have their own engine. So its pretty much a whole new game.
IGN’s first look at GTA V offers a selection box of scintillating glimpses of whats in store next year.
Rockstar is saying multiplayer is pretty much being revamped. I'm quite curious how it will be.
Rockstar really need to take a look at Skyrim and learn how to take advantage of the open world. The last few versions of GTA have really suffered from a linear, repetitive mission structure which most folks lose motivation to slog through.
...and revamp that goddamn cell phone, or leave it out all together. The reason I quit playing 4.
While I agree with this for the most part, there should be some incentive to play a storyline and unlocking other areas is that incentive.
On top of that there's the idea that a new gamer should be able to learn the ropes of the game through a mini-walkthrough of all the abilities and functions the game has.
I'd say that you could explore all you want (this might be possible with the planes coming back), but the missions for certain areas wouldn't light up until you've done certain storyline points.
For what it's worth, Rockstar usually puts out great stuff and I'm pumped for the game.
What, you don't like getting endless calls from people who are pissed you don't hang out with them enough?
How about the shite fighting engine that has you running around in circles, or endless failing missions for no rational reason?
NIKO COUS-ING, LETS GO BOWLING
