I'm in love with Marrgery mysef
Personally I'm a big fan of both
I'm scared of what I won't become. You're scared of what I will become. Become Legendary
you know nothing, Jon Snow
My brother sent me this picture of Kip Harrington (Jon Snow). Heck of an actor.
"losing Caleb Benenoch is a blow that Dantonio will never recover from. Izzo has lost it as well. Hoke and Beilein own the state."
Going off of that, who do you think are the best actors on the show?
My top 5 (in no particular order):
- Charles Dance (Tywin)
- Peter Dinklage (Tyrion)
The scene between these two in S3E01 was one of the best scenes in the entire series. So good.
- Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime)
- Liam Cunningham (Davos)
- Richard Madden (Robb)
Hard to really pick 5, they've done a wonderful job with casting overall and there's some really talented actors all around.
I'd put Mance Rayder in here too but we haven't seen enough of him. But Ciaran Hinds is fantastic and he's going to make that role awesome. Other honorable mentions: Maisie Williams (Arya), Conleth Hill (Varys), Iain Glen (Jorah), Jack Gleeson (Joffrey), Jerome Flynn (Bronn).
Also I'm sure it's been mentioned but I just want to reiterate how profoundly different Bran Stark's voice is now that the lad has begun to see hair grow where there was none before and repetitive unnatural thoughts about his set sisters. He just turned 14, quite noticeable when compared to season one when he was probably 11 or 10 when they began. Hodor's gonna have to earn it now.

Your a retard.
Maise Williams was fantastic last season with Charles Dance. Those scenes in Harrenhal were probably the best of the whole season.
Honestly, it's much easier to list the actors that don't seem like great fits. . . . Asha (Yara) Greyjoy, the Mountain (Seriously, too skinny. JYD would be proud, but I think WWE's "The Big Show" would have made a hell of a Mountain. He's 7'1 450ish) . . . . who else has been bad?
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.
Not a fan of Danaerys at all but that's probably cause her character/storyline sucks on account of being a 13 year old girl with no worldly knowledge. Emilia Clarke isn't terrible I guess but she's definitely not one of the stronger actors on the show.
Also, didn't like the casting of Renly. He's supposed to be the spitting image of Robert. They looked nothing alike.
Mark Addy was awesome as Robert though. Made the character so much more likeable.
Not sure I can take you seriously since you left Theon off of your list.
Forgot about Theon. Wasn't a fan of Alfie much in Season 1 but man did he turn in an amazing performance in season 2.
Aiden Gillen deserves a mention. He's great as Littlefinger.
Beat me to it. How can anyone not include Tommy Carcetti?
Players play, tough players win.
people seem to be really cheering for John Snow in that respect.
Sex in Game of Thrones has a weird, contrived feel to it. Whether it's incest among nobility, or demonic possession, or prostitutes (there are prostitutes everywhere, they even have their own story lines and narratives--hookers are really at the absolute center of the series) the sex feels a bit unnatural or voyeuristic--like it's pumped up and over the top for our benefit. That could just be HBO.
The two celibates in this quasi Medieval world are singled out by everyone else for pity, and ours too, even while sex is getting everybody else in trouble or making them feel repressed or causing dangerous pillow talk.
Renly is described in the first book as being strikingly handsome as Robert was before he got drunk and fat.
For the love of Trevor...™
I know, but my point was that Renly and Robert didn't look alike at all. I would not have guessed that they were brothers. Even before Robert got fat.
Have you read the books? The only thing GRRM describes with more veracity than sex, is food.
The girl who plays Sansa. Maybe it's more her character being dumb as a rock though.
I haven't read the books so I don't know her story arc, but I'm hoping she gets eaten by a dragon.
Let's just say that Sansa's story arc will get dramatically more interesting soon.
IN reality all the Starks are pretty frekaing dumb. I would give anohter nod to Alfie Allen though. Theon was my favorite storyline last year and his portrayl is a major reason why. That stare he had after the burnt body reveal was incredible.
Only a little, it feels like you are only telling a half-truth. Her story is dwarfed in comparison to Arya. Although, maybe I am being a little impish.
haven't read the books, but I haven't talked to anyone who has that didn't like them.
Who doesn't like to read about sex and food?
Alfie really kicked it up a notch in season 2. He owned that role and made the entire story arc engaging.
No way, i'd say it definitely gets a lot more engaging, and a little more.
