Played really bad D and on the boards, against a team playing out of their minds on fire, with horrible officiating, and without 2 key players. Got the win and more close game experience and tons of film for Izzo to motivate with. I'll take it.
Whoe doesn't like 2.5 hour games?
Too many cases where the MSU players were not getting a body on the BSU player on rebounds....establish position FIRST....keep their players away from the basket. Izzo will be all over them for rebounding, not stopping the dribble drive....defense in general. A win is a win, especially when your leading scorer goes down.
Teams with heart find a way to win this game. It's November and they struggle without Harris. Other than that the only thing I take out of this game is that Appling has big, brass balls.
Glad to escape that with a W without Trice or Harris to carry the offense. The significance of the development and maturation of Appling's game can't be stressed enough, he's going to be huge for this team down the stretch. Really hoping Harris' injury isn't serious and we will see him back Friday.
It's just you
What for douche?
When was the last time Magic was in the house for a game this small? I'd assume he's home for thanksgiving?
Comes home every year at this time.
Was at the UWM game last season.
