Kansas has 4 seniors on their team.
sorry - 2 freshmen w/ significant minutes and 5 sophs (RS and True) to go with Appling/Nix/Payne. we are a very very young team that will need time to figure out optimal lineups.
Just don't play Nix unless we need to give fouls
You don't think we will finish the season ranked 14 or higher ?
again...why does this happen to MSU more than any program in the nation?
any coach will tell you that cupcakes don't prepare you for shit. in fact there often more harmful than helpful as it's too easy to win even when you play lazy and bad habits don't hurt you. A tough loss is often a hundred times the teaching tool of an easy win.
We will be okay. Costello will help, I think. And, Slipper Rock is beating scUM.
It doesn't. We see our warts because were paying 10x the attention to this team compared to others.
Yea...I recall Duke playing a cupcake last year before they went to NYC and stomped Izzo and company.
Nonsense. Just because they aren't quite there yet doesn't mean they didn't want to. Dawson sure as hell did for one. So did Harris. They were playing with a lot of fire - maybe too much. That's one of the things you have to learn as you mature - how to control yourself in big moments. We played like the young team we are. saying they didn't want to win is by far the most idiotic comment in this entire thread...which isn't an easy achievement.
No, we see it every year losing these exact same games with the exact same gripes. TO's....Lineup's, it never fails.
They aren't even on TV?
Not sure... I just check score on espn. I dont' give enough of a shit about scUM to watch them.
Yep and dumbasses like you bitch until March...
Yeah, we should wait until March to lose these games! Good point.
and a bunch of freshman. if you look up their box score tonight you'll see four freshmen in the top 7 minutes. Withy, Releford are the only experienced players on that team. Elijah Johnson is a senior guard that will start, but he averaged 3 points a game last year. Kevin Young is a transfer who will play 5-8 minutes.
So effectively they are a team dependent on Withy and Releford along with Freshmen Ben Maclemore, Perry Ellis, Jamari Taylor, and a guard from Seattle named Adams I think. Soph. Naadir Tharpe will play, but he also averaged about a point a game last year in mop up minutes.
So as I said, they have two guys - who are indeed very good - and some talented freshmen. Sound familiar? They are MSU if Dawson was also a Freshman and no Trice or Payne. Not sure why they are ranked 7th.
the second sentence?
Reading is hard for some.
What about UCONN? Two guards and a bunch of hacks, new hacks at that.
You can't sugarcoat this one.
This team played like they wanted to win?
Please. Please explain to me what they were doing in the first half.
God you're an idiot.
UCONN played 8 guys:
SO (who played 30 minutes a game last year)
Yeah, UConn won the whole thing two years ago, you didn't know their roster is now filled with MAC players.
But but but we were supposed to be the more inexperienced team!
That's what the sunshine blowers are claiming.
So fucking tired of the SB's.
you said "they didn't want to win." I said that's obviously not true. It's an idiotic thing to say. just because they didn't play well in the first half doesn't mean they didn't want to win.
Like most chicken littles around here, you were clearly born without the ability to reason or any critical thinking skills whatsoever. God you're an Idiot.
