Are you aware of Reggie's salary at Kansas?
Drake Harris's high school coach.
"Look at this. An entire generation of Cinderellas, and there's no glass slipper coming." -- Mother in ALMOST FAMOUS
So you think he's desperate? He's making more not coaching for Cal than he would as a coordinator and he can wait for the right job. Just stop with this nonsense. All it does is raise morans expectations to ridiculous levels and then when Dantonio makes a decent, realistic hire tRCMB will flip out.
You take the fun out of big game hunting.
They won the State championship.. Why not.
This is the right answer...assuming Drake likes him.
Ho took a buy out, and can coach anywhere and not have to pay it back.
Who cares. It's Kansas. Plus, if we can't match Kansas fball we are fucked long term.
His name is Don Fellows...nice guy. He owns a small biz in Rockford, MI and I use to belong to a networking group with him. (BNI) Helluva nice guy, but no he won't be in the mix...I think he'll promote Salem personally.
What is his salary?
"You make sure when you come, you got a little blood in your eye, a little blood in your eye, a little fire in your belly. We there yet?"
SIAP, but Bollman is currently employed as the OL coach at Purdue under Hazell. Not sure if everyone knew that. While I wouldn't recommend the hire, I don't think Dantonio would even offer it. Bollman already has a job and I wouldn't expect him to screw over Hazell by leaving now, and Dantonio knows he can do better.
Tressel was the de facto OC at OSU. Bollman was OC in name only. He had input, but Tressel called the plays and was in control of the Offfense. We saw two years ago when Bollman actually had to act as the OC how putrid the OSU Offense was. And he certainly didn't do anything to help BC last year. MSU can do SO much better
Reggie Mitchell gets 250k I think.
Thanks for the insight.
Funniest reply so far this year!
laconophilia is everywhere...
It's a 3 step process that I want:
1. Promote Salem to OC
2. Move Mark Staten to RB coach
3. Give Bob Bostad whatever the hell he wants to be our OL coach
or not...depends on who you talk to I suppose: Hondo claims quite the opposite and you guys can rip him all you want but the guy is plugged into this program.......
"Dantonio & Roushar are close friends. Dantonio didn't ask or encourage Roushar to leave. Job opened Roushar approached Dantonio 1st.
Spartan Nation has reported FOR MONTHS that the only way Roushar left was by his own choice & that is what this was.
Roushar only talked to Saints AFTER Coach D gave his blessing. Coach D was IN NO WAY pushing him out."
I'm with you 100% on this Jandy...Staten has NOT gotten the job done any more than Roushar did.
Okay, believe what you want. You've got a source who insisted that Izzo was in the running for the head football coach. I've got nothing but my own insight. I'm not going to fight you.
I don't think Staten has done poorly at all. I think he's done pretty well with the circumstances he's had to deal with. I just think that bringing an elephant killer in, like Bostad, could take the program to the next level.
Kiffin fired OC Kennedy Palomalu about a week ago. He was a USC RB back in the 80s, and is Troy's uncle. He did much of the offensive recruiting at USC especially at RB and WR. He's been a RB coach in the pros over the years, and at USC for a while. The big downside is Kiffin wouldn't let him call plays.
Many of the players and alums are outraged. . . he's a popular guy.

Hondo should ask his sources how much Dantonio offered Roushar to stay...
Only if Ronnie Tuiosisopo comes with him.
