Best thing about the game was that it was over in exactly 2 hrs. Thanks ESPN3
You have such a way with words...why crap like this is tolerated around here is beyond me....clearly a bunch of illiterates and not MSU educated posters around here...at least I hope so!
"We'll play anyone, anyplace, anytime!" - Tom Izzo
I take it you didn't watch any of the games this week?
Each game was close with 5 minutes remaining in the game. Each game was against VERY weak opponents at HOME.
The good news is every opponent we play without Harris is weak.
The bad news is we will certainly get popped by a bad Miami and a bad Texas team if we don't improve dramatically
So your excuses for Dawson's poor handles are: he's playing in front of 10,000 fans, being chased by D1 athletes and has teammates calling for the ball?

Texas lost by 13 to Chaminade
Rogue Leader= Obese coward who didn't attend MSU and has no college degree
Miami is not a bad team, especially on the road in November.
Even teams with terrible losses come with their A game when playing a ranked team.
What did Coach Izzo have to say in the post game interview with Gus?
I've got three degrees from MSU. I'll say "we" whenever the fuck I want to. If you don't like it, squat on a Coke bottle.
I watched Miami play. Their size and that they probably zone us with our terrible passing will be a huge challenge.
I think it's a perfect storm of bad circumstances. Road trip to Germany to start the season, then fly back, go to class, then down to Atlanta. Trice goes down, forcing us to play Appling for extended minutes, then Harris goes down in the first game of a grueling stretch of congestion (4 games in 8 days), one of our days off being Thanksgiving, meaning we have practically no time to make adjustments.
When we get Harris and Trice back, and get some rest, then we'll see what team we are.
Read the response thoroughly dipshit. I was responding to the idiot's assertion that guys in his rec league have better handles than Dawson.
At least his lack of handles and jump shooting will keep him from jumping to the NBA early. Gotta look at the positives.
"RCMB: You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainry." - some dude from MgoBlog
Just like Jerry Jones would refer to the Cowboys as "we" because he pays for the player's compensation and facilities, an alumni can refer to a team as "we" because he paid for the player's education and facilities. They're the Michigan State University Spartans, not the Keith Applings.
22 turnovers in last two games between Valentine, Byrd, and Kearney.
A recipe for disaster on Wednesday against a bigger team making passes more difficult and they more than likely zone us.
Izzo called out Valentine in the post-game radio show
Don't buy the team is tired bit because Lafayette was playing their 5th game in 10 days and all on the road I believe the announcer said.
Its the turnovers that are killing this team and it is a very bad occurance that has happened year after year after year with this team. It never gets fixed and that is bothersome. Its not just the turnovers.. its how dumb they are.. they are huge in shear number ( what 20 again today?) and they often lead to "touchdowns" for the other team.
WHY this can't be fixed is beyond me and has left to fester for too long. Don't give me all will be better when Trice and Harris get back. Harris is a freshman that will likely hit the Freshman Wall this year and Trice is prone to bonehead turnovers more than is acceptable too.
I really hope JP did not watch that
I am so sick of this.. time and travel .. excuse. WHO"S FAULT IS THAT FOR SCHEDULING THAT WAY.??? Izzo wants to bitch about travel and no time to "work on things" its his own damn fault. I LOVE the guy for all he's done for MSU and wouldn't trade him for any coach in America.. but he is beyond stupid the way he builds his schedule year in year out. There is no reason for it. Going to travel to east west jesus Germany? then PASS on having to turn right around to get to Atlanta..find another good game to play.. there are only 338 div I teams in America to chose from. Want time to work on the game with good new young players. Then don't frickin' schedule 4 games in 8 days around Thanksgiving. I don't care, flame all you want. This isn't the first time this schedule nonsense has efffed with the team and there is only one person responsible for it.
So you think that having 2 of our best ball handlers out, our best 2 shooters and our second best scorer out has nothing to do with our turnovers? Yeah that makes alot of sense lol.
Folks, we won the game.
I read your response too, shitbird. And you do indeed apologize for Dawson's poor ball handling by noting that he plays in front of a crowd and against D1 athletes.
I actually agree, and Izzo blamed himself for it after the Oakland game. Thing is, he comes to the same realization every season...wish he and Hollis would get serious about making a change.
There is plenty of practice time following exams in December and that is where progress is made.
FTR, I am fine with the Germany trip. It is the scheduling post-Kansas that just doesn't make any sense. Too many games in too few days.
