At this point I think the longer he waits to decide, it's better for us. It would be great to make an impression on his visit this summer and get him back for an official. Still need Narduzzi on this though.

I think that's how it is with any 4/5 star we're in on, Adams, Foster, Daniel, and now Bower. I want all of them to wait and hopefully we have the season we're expecting to have.

I highly doubt we get this guy... BUT! The fact we got him on campus and have him interested is excellent. Keep on winning and these guys will start to fall. Consistency is key.

It's amazing how much Dantonio has raised MSU's national profile..a few more years like the last 2 and we will be landing guys like this.

Yup, we're in his Top 10 and he's never been to the school. How many out-of-state blue chip prospects were putting us in their Top 10 based on reputation and a small amount of recruiting in the JLS era?
Seriously though, is Roushar friends with his Dad? If not, can sick Nar-Dog on him instead?

Just addressing your first point, look at who the other members of his top 10 are. Other than Rutgers and S. Car, every other squad has been to multiple BCS bowls.
Nice to be at least jogging with the big boys.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

Sean, quick question not related to Bower. Another D End though, Elijah Daniel seems to have really cooled on us. I just read an interview with him and we were not even brought up in his top 18 schools or so. Has the staff stopped going after this kid? Seems to me we haven't heard of any of our coaches visiting him even though his school is rather close. I just am not feeling too confident about landing a top flight d end this year, James, Daniel, Bower will all be very tough pulls. Robbins is the only one we look good with.

When asked when he would like to make his college decision, Bower said, “I want to take official visits before I make a decision. But I know a lot of schools don’t have the whole year to wait so I’m not sure yet when I’ll decide.”
I appreciate his flexibility. Hopefully, this recruitment works out in our favor...
