DHoward has everybody fooled. His image is well crafted. He probably is a nice guy but he isn't a Tim Tebow. Howard has 5 kids by five different women. He is only a few kids away from being Antonio Cromartie.

Loyalty. He was part of the original "big 3" that did pretty much the same thing as the Heat guys, just without the media circus around them. Loyalty hasn't existed in pro sports for a long time.

Not sure what's classless about signing with a different team either.

Rondo apparently was the reason ray allen left for the heat:

I don't think his motor is the issue. He's a true athlete, not a trure hooper. His offensive game is suspect.

if you Miami Heat get these players it's over folks...

The Heat are scheduled to host veteran power forward Rashard Lewis on Sunday, who recently was bought out by the New Orleans Hornets. With Allen set to take the Heat's mid-level exception when he signs after July 11, Lewis is facing the same option in Miami as Camby.The best the Heat can offer is the $1.4 million veteran's minimum. Lewis is not eligible for a sign-and-trade.

Am I reading right that if the pistons amnesty CV and don't pick up options on scrubs they could have a LOT of cap space next summer? Can someone in the know clarify?

other than the 2 kids out of wedlock, sure.

EDIT: just saw the article posted above saying 5. Somehow I doubt a few of those chicks are legit but 2 are confirmed.

So what do they do with the money? Looked at players and they should be able to sign a few guys without breaking the bank, just not sure who the best fits are.
