  • Am I missing something here because I could of sworn we got the best player in MI last year with Burbridge and I am willing to bet we have a commit from the kid who will end up the best in state player in this current class by the time they are done with college in Reschke. I mean do the people on this board honestly think that we will never lose to UM again just because we have a 4 year streak going? UM is going to be good,some years they will be very good and heaven forbid some years they will beat us but the big difference is that we now have a good program as well so losing to UM doesn't make or break our season like it used to. Getting so worked up over one game on the schedule is foolish,it is the crap teams that do that because that one game is all they have to play for.

    I don't care that Michigan is doing well in recruiting. It's just going to make it that much more hilarious/impressive when we beat them.

    I don't really care how Rivals grades these kids out, so long as the ones we do get are developed into quality players. It really makes no difference to me if we land a 4 star, or land a 3 star who we develop into a 4 star. Tanner, how many holes do you see on our defense? Studs everywhere. Just relax. Everything will be fine. Breathe into a paper bag if necessary.

    People need to remember that the people who assign stars are amateurs.

I gess they don't want to count the previous 6 years that Michigan won in a row because that doesn't fit their narative.

    I hope msu fans have appreciated the 4 game winning streak vs Miichigan becuase it 's all going to come to a close this year and the spartans and their fans are smacked in the face with reality! What reality you ask? The reality that Michigan is BACK and the spartans are back to being road kill for Michigan on their way to a Big Ten title game.

Michigan plans on changing that fact and United States citizens will vote the worst president in history out of the White House."

    That fucking idiot actually found a way to bring his political views into a recruiting debate. That's a new low for their fan base. that guy without question has more than one bumper sticker on the pickup. You guys missed the back and forth on the "Dantonio is a terrible recruiter" thread they have on wolverine 247. I can't remember what it was called but it was interesting. The few of us over there got a real education on how poorly we recruit, stars are the only thing that matter, we'll be destroyed by them in the next two years, we're headed back to 7-5 every year, and a little narrative on how the BCS at large bid works.

    Aaaaaaaand we slid into the top 5 nationally. Not to be a jerk, but I honestly think we're better this year. I think the pressure will be even more intense and we're impossible to throw on, but that's me.
    Not to mention the fact that it's not as if we're replacing our most successful QB ever with someone who's gonna get a look at receiver in the draft. Dude was an Elite 11 finalist who's spent years in the system. I think we're alright.

  • How does our previous losing streak to Michigan hurt some supposed narrative we have now? That was two coaches ago for UM and built primarily upon Bobby Williams and JLS, and they are no longer MSU coaches.
