Seriously? How many spread offenses have you seen in the NFL?
Look, spot make me hating on Derrick Mason and agreeing with Spartan8Ball, I don't like it. He is just not a HOFer, but the dude played for 15 years and had 900+ receptions, but he was never the best nor was he even flirting with being one of the best. But he was in the second tier for nearly a decade. Nothing wrong with that.

Just because you name 6 or 7 great players over a ten year period does not mean that ALL of them don't eventually get into the hall. They all might. Mason is on the list and it is completely possible he makes it. You can't predict the future but you can talk big if you like. Time will tell. You won't.

Except the Pro Football Hall of Fame has only elected 17 WRs in the last 50 years and only 5 in the last ten. Cris Carter has was elite and he still hasn't made it after five years. You have to consider Andre Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald will pass his numbers and what about guys like Steve Smith and Reggie Wayne who will also likely pass Mason. Then there is Roddy White, Brandon Marshall and Calvin Johnson who all have had better seasons than Derrick Mason's best.
Like I said, he was solidly on the second tier for a long time and put up amazing career numbers. He just is not quite HOF quality.
