Has apparently been officially moved to Wide Receiver. Update on Gardner's FB account and passed to me from a scUM acquaintance. Who's going to step up when our hungry defense knocks Denard out of the game? Bellamy?

Its really ironic that he clearly can throw better than Denard, but yet he's the one making the move. I just finished watching a replay of our game against UM last year. If it wasn't for Denards inability to hit a wide open receivers consistently, we probably lose that game.

1. Would be difficult to care less.
2. Dumb move IMHO, they should put Gardner @ QB and use Shoelace in a lot of Wildcat QB and a bit of how we used Keyshawn early in his career in the slot and on returns to get him ready for the next level.

There's no reason Gardner shouldn't be starting at QB. Denard would be a much better fit at SWR and touching the ball on end arounds, quick slants and all kinds of option plays. Keep hyping this team up media because it's definitely getting to their heads. It's going to be so glorious when they finish with 5 losses.

Everyone makes a big deal out of MSU losing their top three receivers, but UofM has almost no experience there as well. Roundtree? Gallon? Not scaring anyone. Gardner has 4-6" in height on both. All of their WRs are shrimps. Not that they'll throw the ball that much anyway.

Gardner looked and played like complete crap during U of M's spring game. I think that had to be his "tryout" for the QB2 position.

I don't know if we lose, but it might have been closer. We gave them a TD worth of penalty yards. Clean that up and it's a 3 score win.

This says more about those backing up Shoelaces and Gardner. They want to make the full shift to the prostyle and the guys behind Garner will do a better job with it next season after shoelaces is gone.

Roundtree at least has a 900+ receiving yard season to his name. Gallon has more experience than any of MSU's WRs.
At the same time, Roundtree functions best as a slot WR; I don't know how he'll handle being a flanker. Suffice to say there are questions about both squad's passing attacks.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

No kidding. Teams were begging Shoelace to throw last year, this year they won't even have to cover the WR since they'll be knee-capped at the line.
Oh well, no worries for them--BCS champs, a top ten team pre-season, and a dark horse Natty Champ. They've got it dicked.
