None of my vehicles HAVE a cd player (all cassette) but no I would not use it. I have hundreds of cds and have not played one at home in years.

In my cars I rigged up aux inputs into my factory cassette radios and listen to an iPhone or iPod. I also will listen to local sports talk mostly in football season.

w/o reading four pages of dumb responses, yes. My cassette player broke.

Count me as one of those anachronistic freaks who still enjoys buying CDs. I still find it fun to rip off the cellophane in the car and pop the disc in the car CD player.
