The exact same symptoms I had years ago while climbing ropes in gym class...except that it was in my groin...and it was quite pleasurable, not painful at all.
It should pass in a few years.

Sounds like you severely damaged the muscles around the chest. Most likely it is work-related. The pain will eventually migrate to your back and you will be unable to work; Most likely resulting in permanent disability and a Medical Marijuana card. I would file a Worker's Comp claim and hire an attorney.
