This team lacks a legitimate pure goalscorer. Franzen was supposed to be that guy when he got the long-term deal, but it hasn't happened. Babcock is one of, if not the best in the game. It's not his fault the team has offensive deficiencies and unless Pav's returns to last years ridiciulous playoff form it will be tough to score goals at times. But, relax, the team is not this bad, they're just not as good as we expect the wings to be

After a 5-0 start the Red Wings have lost 6 in a row with very little goal production.
Maybe the team needs to hear a different voice or is it the new coaching staff as a group aren't getting the changes needed for more goal production?
Another 2 weeks of losing and only have 2,1 or 0 gaols per game is going to force a change.

ps Sleaze. My concern was after 6 seasons the team was getting a tin ear to Babcock's coaching. After that 6 game losing streak where they had awful goal production they have stepped up.
Not every NHL coach is a Scotty Bowman who could keep a team jumping from 1993-94 through 2001-2002
