Mr. Criscuolo, the guy who owns the Lexus and Toyota dealerships in town jumped in supplying MSU coaches (and some wives) when when GM was having their problems sometime in the mid 1990's. Lexus came to Lansing in '91 or '92.
Before then it was all Cadillacs and Oldsmobiles between Capital Cadillac and Story. Story used to suplly MSU coaches with a lot of cars but MSU also bought a lot of cars from Story too.

One of my best friend's dad's is one of the suppliers of vehicles for MSU coaches. We were looking for an expedition around 2000 or 2001, and when we went in, the owner of the dealership sold my dad an expedition with a couple thousand miles on it that Izzo had driven, but didn't like. We still have that thing with 200k+ on it. I'm not sure my dad will ever give it up. Currently it's the car used to haul the dogs around.
