How will Harris balance his time between football and basketball? Is it right to assume he is basketball first? Izzo sounded like the key to landing him and has been on him since 8th grade. Will he only play football up until mid October? Through the reg season? bowl game? Its going to be tough to balance the 2 and I would not be surprized if he ended up in 1 or the other after a year or 2. Just not sure which one. Have seen alot of football/baseball 2 sport stars but there is no overlap in the seasons. Football/Basketball is rare. Ronald Curry, Allen Iverson, Greg Paulus all were highly rated in both but none tried to participate in both at the same time. I think Charles Barkley might have done it.

Bryan Randall played QB for VT and Guard on their hoops team. I remember that he didn't start playing basketball till football's season ended. I really think that is the only way you can do both. I don't really see how you could allow yourself to miss some of the most meaningful games of football season to play some of the least meaningful games of basketball season.
