This.
I was a huge fan immediately. The passion he played with and effort he put forth was apparent, I just never saw him as a takeover a game / best player on the floor type guy. IMO, he's been the best player on the floor in a large majority of the games we've played this year. What he's become is absolutely stunning and a credit to the effort he's put in and his will to be the best.
I still doubt his future as an NBA player, but at the same time feel stupid for saying that. He's already proven a lot of people wrong with his accomplishments.

There was a short blog on ESPN this week where some "experts were polled" which included some interesting stats. Draymond came in third in the voting, but he is on the rise - from 5th to 3rd.
Tempo-free stats from statsheet.com:
- Davis: 137.6 offensive rating; 65.8 eFG percentage; 11.8 offensive rebound percentage; 22.3 defensive rebound percentage; 5.5 assist percentage; 2.8 steal percentage; 14.6 block percentage.
- Robinson: 108.5 offensive rating; 53.6 eFG percentage; 10.7 offensive rebound percentage; 32.5 defensive rebound percentage; 12.7 assist percentage; 2.0 steal percentage; 3.8 block percentage.
- Green: 108.8 offensive rating; 51.4 eFG percentage; 8.3 offensive rebound percentage; 26.8 defensive rebound percentage; 22.8 assist percentage; 2.8 steal percentage; 3.2 block percentage.

Magic Johnson was quoted last week as saying Green has a future in the nba. He says Green does too many things right not to be an nba player. Last mock draft I saw Green was all the way up to pick 20 by Philadelphia. No offense, but I am going to put a little more faith in what Magic has to say since he has been there, and done that. Not to mention he is one of the nba's greatest players ever.

I'm really not trying to be a hater and of course Magic knows more about NBA potential then I ever will. What I was saying is that I have trouble imagining Day Day as a productive NBA player. Similarly, I never imagined Green would be a 15/10/3 type player in the Big Ten. He proved me wrong once and I won't be surprised if he proves me wrong again.
Obviously, I'll be rooting for him the whole way. I'd be much more inclined to watch random NBA games if the Dancing Bear made himself into a consistent contributor at the next level.

If Brian Cardinal was able to carve out an 11 year NBA career, there's no reason Day Day couldn't be productive in the NBA.
Am I the only person that thinks Draymond could be a Paul Millsap type player? Here's Millsap's NBA draft profile: http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Paul-Millsap-299/. The measurables are pretty comparable. They're both about 6'6"-6'7" with 7' wingspans. Neither are incredibly athletic, but get by with their smarts and aggressiveness on the glass.
