It's a marathon, not a sprint. Good news is that MSU has finally stopped tripping over their shoes. That shouldn't be confused with winning the race though.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

I really hope Dantonio coaches 10 more years minimum for this reason. Still a long way to go for our program but we are on a great path.

I truly appreciate your historical insight along with your opinion/insight of MSU present day athletics.
If Maxwell is solid and the defense plays up to expectations, MSU will be competing in Indy for the second year in a row.

Yea, I can see Dantonio being MSU's Barry Alvarez or Mike Belotti. The coach who comes in, straightens the program around, has some very good success . . . and then hands the keys to an up and coming assistant who elevates the program to the next level.

I agee Rocky, it is a marathon, and Dantonio has treated it that way from the onset. Which is why I believe he's been so successful and will be a lifer at MSU.
It is so enjoyable to see that all the parties concerned seem to be on the same page for the sake of MSU and the athletic department.
