We were there for my daughter's graduation in Retailing (also job offer from Kohl's!) and saw and heard the large applause from family. Daughter had several classes with Renaldo Hill and spoke with him often. Had good things to say. She will love this article. Thanks Jack

Great stuff Jack. It's great for me, having religiously read your stuff growing up in Lansing, to still be able to get your take on Spartan sports. I was telling my mom (sorry Jack, no pics) about this story and she reminded me that, when I delivered the LSJ as a kid, i'd get up earlier on game-days to read your column/predicting for that days game. Always thought it would be a great addition to this site if you did the same type of game-day write ups for football that you did for the State Journal.
Thanks again for a great piece on Ray. I loved watching him play and I'm proud that he fulfilled his promise.

Great story jack!
I took jud's basketball coaching class back when I was at state. Ray ws in the class and jud would always pick ray to answer questions that no one else knew the answer to. Jud knew ray didn't have the answer, but liked to make him sweat.
Good to see he toughed it out.

It includes interviews with Tom Izzo, Mateen Cleaves, Kenny Anderson, Shane Battier, Jimmy King and renown sports journalist Jack Ebling, among others.
