I would think that Gomez is up there too.
There is a Polish player, Lewandowski, that has played for Dortmund this year that has been very good. Leading scorer for the German Leauge champs. Might be a Top 15 player.

Probably Xavi imo, Spain should field a lot of the top 20 with Xavi, Iniesta, Pique, Casillas, and a few more all up there.

I've always thought that, top-to-bottom, the Euro has a better level of competition than the World Cup. The World Cup has some truly craptastic teams in the group stage, while even the worst teams in the Euro can compete with the top dogs.

Yep. 1992 was awesome with Denmark only getting in because Yugoslavia had cratered and then went on to win it all. I was living in Germany at the time and even some of my German friends didn't mind their team losing in the final because it was such a great story.
