Ever realize you are a winner?

  • How many stars do winners have? I'm not familiar with where this label falls on your scale.

Is your dream to be a 4-star poster again?

If I have anything to do with it he will, because he's a winner.

I don't place any value on the star system. I don't seek nor do I need validation from a bunch of strangers I like to joke around with on a message board. Those that consider the star system as some sort of barometer of success are really insecure little pimples who really need to get a frigging life and learn not to give a rats ass about validation. You seek your own validation by trying as hard as you can in your chosen occupation. By doing well and giving it your all and never giving up on your individual pursuits , the accolades will come. But, by that time you won't care what others think, you will only care that you gave it your all. You demanded excellence. Have a nice day. coffee

    Rant on Tanner...

Oh yea, btw, Tanner, you're a loser because of what you've become on tRCMB... a whinning, ranting fool.

See, here is a prime example of an angry dude who fails to see the positive aspects of demanding excellence of himself. His self loathing oozes from his pores. I feel sorry for his ilk. They are all very predictable and people I chose not to associate with. I think the negative karma these people generate is not healthy. I hope Bender, Nigel, spartyon1 someday get their shit together.

Yes. Clearly you don't care what I say.

A blower accepts their station in life. They never wanted it. Their kids are obese and looking at diabetes. Fuck those people. They gave up. Never stop believing.

The thread about being a loser and the other thread about being luckier than others made me want to puke. I wanted to slap some sense into those posters. No one is luckier than others. Make your own god damn luck. Don't be a pussy

I like the old quote "I am a great believer in luck, and I find that the harder work the more I have of it"

I'm constantly annoyed when friends and family refer to any of the following things to "luck": Great job, good savings, well behaved kids, awesome and hot wife, nice home, etc. These things didn't happen by chance.

Nigel and I give each other shit on The board but engage in wild monkey love at tailgates. This Would never happen with a go disc golfer.

That's called excuse making which is what you blowers constantly do. I feel sorry for you. You put it all on fate. What a loser philosophy. That's why you will always be a loser. Sad.

While I'm sure you mentally taxed yourself coming up with that argument, I'll still go with Newman's position. Those of us who've had good fortune need to realize how little we actually had to do with it - otherwise, we face the likelihood of becoming pretentious assholes.
