I knew a guy who was Sparty. He apparently got released of his duties when a Florida trip turned into drunken debauchery with cheerleaders
What is that, a Titleist? A hole in one...

One of my best friends was a Sparty, so I met the other one's. They're pretty cool guys. Except Borat. He's an ass.

I mentioned one time on here that I was at a bday party in 2006 in Ft Lauderdale that Sparty came down there for and got a reply from someone saying that was him.

Really depends on the sport. Football, you dont see much because you are always walking around the field.
Hockey, you literally are lucky to see one shift as you are on the concourse and there are people EVERYWHERE!
Basketball, they make you basically sit on the sideline during play, so you get to see a lot.
I remember when the Izzone did the whole "Tar-vers Stu-pid!!" chant against Minnesota, I was in the costume hoping I wasnt shaking because I was laughing so hard. Being 10-15 feet from him when the chant was going on, the look on his face was PRICELESS!!!

I'll echo Sparty2QP, it all depends on the sport. Football, you're non-stop "GO GO GO". You may be able to catch a key moment here or there, but for the most part, you're playing grab ass with the cheerleaders, flirting with the dance team members, joking around with the band (rubbing Brough's head prior to every game), pissing off the cameramen on the sidelines, posing for pictures, etc.
Hockey, you may get to catch a shift or two, but for the most part you're walking around the concourse interacting with fans. I did the GLI for the '06-'07 season when MSU won it. I didn't see a single shift, but got to skate on the ice during the intermissions with Joe College, then got to hoist the trophy on the ice afterward.
Volleyball, during play, its nothing but pure volleyball rear end watching during play, then out and about during pauses, and the occasional joking around with the hottie at the concession stand.
Basketball, watch the entire game. Breslin is dreadfully hot and had to walk off the court to the back to throw up a couple times during games.
