FSU Trustee: Florida State interested in joining Big 12

Sounds like the ACC's deal with ESPN really isn't that great.

Florida State trustee may have lit the fuse on a potential move to the Big 12 - Yahoo! Sports

From Yahoo! Sports: An errant TV contract with ESPN angered several institutions, and the chairman of FSU's board of trustees says the school may consider changing conferences.

Makes me REALLY appreciate the BTN.

Their best team got beat by 40 and almost gave up 100 points last year in a bowl game. I don't blame ESPN for not paying that much for their TV rights. The ACC sucks. Clemson/VA Tech would be around the same level of Illinois in the B1G and they are currently the class of the ACC right now.

tJYD reported the ACC deal like 5 days ago. The AD said on Thursday that there was no truth to the rumor....apparently he was lying through his teeth.

Player development has to be the big shocker because they are still getting high level talent

How is Oklahoma that much further away from the Carolina's, as an example?

King Bobby stayed too long. When Mark Richt left, he took the O with him. Jimbo is re-building. They should have a good season his year.

Jimbo had plenty of talent to win big in the toothless ACC last year and underachieved big time.
They are firmly in the "prove it" category as far as I'm concerned.
