They had to be in class for the first semester.
However it would not surprise me if they all did what Darius Morris did last year in aa. He occasionally showed up for classes until the the final week of the regular season and never set foot in class again. There was no mystery in aa about his intentions.

Who knows. But just being 1-and-done doesn't hurt the school. I would think that a "school" like kentucky would put all their freshman BBall players in the easiest classes possible so they remain on track.

all they have to do is pass classes for the fall semester....they don't have to attend a single class after Christmas break - just be registered...because failing all of those classes would only impact their eligibility for the next fall - when they'll be making millions in the NBA. so no, Davis, Gilchrest, Jones, and Lamb haven't seen a classroom since 2011.

as much as i despise Cal and what he's done to this sport, you can't blame Davis for that - I give him credit not just for being ridiculously talented (and moves like a guard at 6'10"), but he seems to be all business and to have no ego at all on the court. most guys with his hype would be drama queens like Sully and Thomas Robinson have turned into this year. He's not at all and that is the only thing that's remotely refreshing about this team.
