    He was not a projected starter. He sucked. Ricky Barnum has been the projected starter, with Khoury and Miller battling for 2nd string.

    Khoury leaving is good news. He was essentially a worthless player. Opens up another scholarship in 2013 and allows us to get up to the goal of 22-24 spots for the 2013 class.

    Sounds like true FR are going to be in your 2-deep. Not a problem, as long as no one gets injured.

    Forgot true frosh in the 2-deep- calling it right now- Kyle Kalis will start somewhere. He is going to be too good to keep off the field.

    Just putting it out there . . . .

    Taking 24-25 kids/class may make your overall recruiting rankings high, but you can't keep recruiting at that pace due to scholarship limits without significant attrition. If you don't RS any players, you can take 21-22 kids per class. Even with a few kids leaving early for the NFL, you can't keep taking massive classes.

    Also, UM now only has 2 non-FR back-ups on the OL.

    Sorry, but losing a RS SR OL is usually not considered a good thing. Not devastating, but not great. Again, Khoury was Molk's back-up, so I thought he was the next ugy in line. Clearly I was wrong.

    Jeremiah was a 4* on some sites, 3* on others. He didn't exactly have an impressive offer sheet either.

    Campbell was a universal 5* on every site- kid had offers from every god damn school in the country.

    Kid has never been coached until right now basically. Rich Rodriguez screwed up his development by not redshirting him as a true freshman, and then switching him from defense to offense back to defense as a sophomore.

    Last year was basically his first year getting any kind of legitimate defensive coaching in his entire collegiate career. He was actually a productive role player. In the 2nd half against Virginia Tech in our bowl game- he played the best out of every defensive lineman on the team- Mike Martin included.

    You guys talk so much shit about him because you want him to suck. He doesn't suck. He was actually pretty decent last year. If he continues to develop, he may still yet reach his potential.

    You mean a DE ranked 110th isn't legitimatelol

    Yeah...he did a great job (in the 2nd half) occupying blockers and disrupting the middle of the LOS on VT's 16 play - 61 yard drive for a TD, and VT's 11 play - 83 yard drive for a FG to tie the game. You must have a really good memory.

    Holy shit. Are you kidding me? Michigan's defense essentially put the lid on VaTech's offense. Their offense scored 1 TD all game despite controlling the ball for nearly 40 minutes (believe it was like 38 and change) and averaged like 3 yards a rush. All this despite Michigan's offense shitting the bed and going 3 and out on nearly every god damn series.

    The hate is strong with you. I like it though. Means Hoke and Co. must be doing something right.

    Rocko Khoury was not a good player. At all. When he went in for Molk he was absolutely terrible. Never showed flashes of any kind. Had trouble snapping the ball properly as well.

    This is a non-event. He was not going to play over Barnum and he might not have beaten out a RS FR. in Miller to be the back-up center. Him leaving opens up another scholarship and might even allow Michigan to now take another OL in the 2013 class.

    I think you're getting confused.

    VT's defense put the lid on Michigan's offense.

    Michigan only had 184 yards in offense. VT doubled that, and had 2 big scoring drives in the 2nd half (you know when your guy was controlling the line of scrimmage lol).

    I think only MSU gained more yards rushing against your vaunted DL.

    Who is trashing the kid? I didn't come on here and trash him as a person. That would be stupid. I don't know him as a person.

    I do know him as a player though, and he was not a very good player. If you don't think the coaches probably suggested this to him, then I don't know what to tell you. The fact is they probably were upfront with him and told him he just didn't have what it took and that he probably was not going to play.

    He was NOT a good player. He did suck. He was a waste of a scholarship. He was essentially worthless. So what. That has no bearing of how he is as a person. That is not trashing him. It's just speaking to his skills as a player. He was not even mediocre. He was below that.
