I freaking the fuck out and I've only read tweets about it...I just want him to be OK. I'm about to puke.

Me too. Hoping he's back for tourney time. [praying]

  • It was his left knee. In the UNC game, it was his right knee.

  • Without that injury, MSU is sole champs. Buford would not have gone off on us.

Still a Championship most didn't expect.

    Hope it's a strain.

  • A lot of people thought the worst after Green was injured at Illinois. I think he'll be OK, especially since there are four days off between now and Friday.

I am telling right now if Dawson can't go, we are in big trouble. You saw it today against an OSU team with 1 big on their team and they out rebounded us.

This. We have no replacement (Dawson is the only SF). If we win, Izzo needs to be crowded immediately.

  • Thought I would feel better today but I do not. I remember how we rallied after Kalin went down a couple of years ago but Dawson is arguably the most athletic guy we had on the team and in my mind, the second hardest to replace next to Draymond.

  • Tough loss, started to get over it, but after seeing the scUM championship Tees on sale today, I got pissed again

  • A 2 point loss to a top ten team and a shared championship when 3rd-4th place was the consensus prediction isn't that hard to digest, but losing a player like Dawson who was just starting to realize his potential and had become a key component of a very together team is brutal. I don't think a single event in Spartan athletics has so depressed me in a long, long time. I only hope that he'll be ok and that this doesn't harm his NBA prospects.

Well said. I still haven' been able to shake the depression from the news of losing Dawson for the year.

Losing the game yesterday was tough to swallow but it was NOTHING in comparison to losing Dawson with a torn ACL. With Dawson, I felt strongly that this team was not only just a Final Four team but also a team who was going to play for a NC.

I hope to God that he comes back as strong as ever & can have just as successful of a recovery as Chris Paul's and all the other players who have had successful comebacks. I feel strongly that Dawson, due to his build/strength/body type & mental toughness & determination, will be the same player he was before the injury & eventually a better player.

Given how much is at stake & that Dawson is a consensus prediction to be a future NBA draft lottery pick in a couple years, I think having Dr. James Andrews or a surgeon who is on his level (if there is one???) do the operation to make sure he is given the best opportunity at making a quick & quality recovery. Expense/cost of the operation should 100% NOT be a factor what so ever.

As we know, a big element of returning from an ACL is the player trust that he play the way he used to & not have to worry about re-injuring it. Kalin Lucas delt with this for his first month or so back playing in games. I think having Dr. Andrews do the operation greatly helps the player be able to trust that his knee will be fine after all the rehab.

I would think that he would be dealing with Steadman clinic in Vail, they are the best in the business with knees. I just found out that it was torn, was hoping it was just a contusion. Delvon is bad luck. jk.
