  • Well, to be fair, we were a 20 point favorite over LIU and won, as expected.

    Michigan was a 4 seed and managed to get upset... and the whole "Ohio!" thing is hanging out there. Its worth making it top story...

    Yeah, but it's hilarious that the MSU game result is listed below girls' high school basketball. Butthurtin' all around at the Freep HQ. lol

    I should have taken a screen shot of it.

    I just went to look at their site a moment ago, and it is now just as it should be:
    Big headline about um loss. Big picture of bLine trudging off the floor.

    Next to it is a smaller print headline about MSU win, and a smaller MSU pic.

    Just the way it should be.

    Last night MSU was literrally relegated to the fine print links. It was an obvious slight, but that was what made it so funny.

    we have plenty of other chances as the tournament rolls on and we pile up wins, to get headlines.

  • The front page. I did not buy the Freep. A whole paper was right next to the box, so free rag for me! Someone must have grabbed 2 and just left the other behind.

    Yall are taking this literal. If you had seen it last night, there was no front page story about MSU at all. It was buried. It wasnt just "not on the front page", it was buried.

    And Im certainly not offended by it. I think it is funny. Hence, the title: Surprising FUNNY.

    NOTHING on the front page about number 1 seeded MSU's win....several articles about scum's loss.....
