George Sipple is a child molester!...!?

I haven't heard any confirmation that GEORGE SIPPLE IS A CHILD MOLESTER. Can anyone confirm the fact that GEORGE SIPPLE IS A CHILD MOLESTER?

See, now I want to know the basis of them pulling the article.

They needed to replace it with George Sipple's Michigan Athletic Department fiscal record fluff piece that's in Today's Freep (not even going to give them the satisfaction by linking it)...Sipple's Monday article had too many nice things to say about MSU and not enough Michigan for the Freep's taste.

Humorous new article today @ Freep (not linked, intentionally).... Freep is rushing to defend "internet rumors" that UM pressures kids to commit. Have no idea why Freep would take it upon themselves to defend recruiting practices based on "internet rumors." But how dare the interwebs attack UM!

But then it makes sure to do a little recruiting on UM's behalf, letting recruits know that the WR slots are filling up fast this year. Better hurry!

Looking at the slap-dash way the article is put together, the low-grade writing quality, and then the way the article seems to suddently end....it appears like the Freep has now just outsourced its sports section to UM students.

Humorous in the sad but true way.

The best was the lack of direct quote, just a Michael Mooreish 5 word clip where they frame the alleged context.

I'm guessing the Benenoch family put pressure on them to pull it.

After reading this thread (and the "article"), how any sane and honest person can debate the lack of professionalism and integrity of the sports staff at Freep (and the News) is beyond me. These guys are unabashed UM slappies.

I get there are more UM fans living in SE Michigan than MSU fans, so I can understand UM receiving more coverage, but I can not understand why the Detroit media has such vitriol towards MSU. Their coverage of MSU is not only lacking, but sophomoric at best. The MSU v UM deal is not a zero sum game, yet they still choose to minimize everything MSU and celebrate all things UM. Whether it be actively recruiting Terrelle Pryor, celebrating September Heismans or embellishing recruiting "scores", the Detroit media promotes UM at the expense of MSU every chance it gets. These hacks do not see high tide raises all ships.

I've never seen a "local" media be as hostile to "local" sports program as the Detroit media is to MSU (who has done more for Detroit than UM has). From what I understand, MSU is MORE than accommodating towards the Detroit media as well. Perhaps MSU should start to shut them out? Seriously, no media coverage from these clowns is better than the BS MSU receives now.

I'm waiting for the day a Freep writer accidentally puts, "Go Blue!" at the end of one of their articles.
