Fringe is awesome. It's probably as close as any show has been to matching the X-Files for me. My girlfriend and I have been watching Supernatural lately. It's in a similar vein and it's okay, but it doesn't stand up against Fringe or the X-Files.

Supernatural is incredible. It really gets going in the second season and just gets better and better. Kim Manners from the X-Files was very heavily involved with Supernatural. Cool guys, funny lines, beautiful girls, fast classic cars, great rock, and scary shit.

  • Alright so I am finally caught up all the way. I cant believe I never watched this show before. This is the greatest show I have ever seen. I love this show. I cant believe its ending. I really hope some other network picks it up for seaosn 6

I also hope they dont kill olivia. I am worried the show is going in that direction. She has died 3 times now in the last 3 seasons. And I cant believe they closed off the other side forever. I started liking fauxlivilia too.

But I still never understood what happened to peter and the original timeline? Is it still erased now? And what the hell was up with philip broyles from the other side? Was he a shapeshifter?

It is an incredible show isn't it? I am also very disappointed that this is the last season but at least we will have a definitive end. The incredible thing is there is so much great material that if the ratings were better it could have gone on for many more yrsbanghead. Maybe someday we will get a movie drool

SPOILER (for those who may not have seen)

As for what happened with Peter, he sacrificed himself in order to bridge the two universes, however he was not completely eliminated he was bleeding through. September was supposed to eliminate any remnants of Peter. He however, disobeyed that order allowing Peter to be resurrected sort of speak. Since the others had lived without Peter, they diverged into a different timeline. When Peter existed again the timeline began to fix itself and return to the original timeline hence why Olivia began having the memories of original timeline. Olivia, because of her love for Peter and her heightened senses with Cortexiphan. Throughout the season you can notice subtle changes since Peter's re-existence to return to the original timeline. At the end of the season they were fully back in the original timeline as September told Peter that this Olivia was his Olivia.

Alt-Broyles was not a shapeshifter (at least it was never determined that he was, you never know with Fringe) the reason he was helping the enemy is that his son was sick and Alt-Broyles was receiving medicine for his son that only they could provide in return for helping David Robert Jones/William Bell.

I thought I stumbled into a Monty Python bit in the scene before the last commercial break.

Yeah. I am conflicted on this one. The finale should be great but I am bummed this show is ending. I think it is the best show on tv and has been one of my favorites in years. Oh well, all good things must come to an end.
