    We were kicked out of Alma's and Albion's conference because we beat them up too much. We had undefeated seasons in the first decade of the 20th century, we just didn't claim retroactive national championships during the Hoover administration.

    A "gift?" Nebraska clearly deserved the national title. Nebraska went 13-0, won the Big 12 and absolutely destroyed Tennessee in the Orange Bowl. Michigan got a gift.

    Most Michigan fans do not think Michigan has lost a game since 1920. Instead, all of those Ls were the result of conspiracies, crimes, or games where Michigan was illegally forced to play away from Michigan Stadium or at a time other than noon.

    It is a fact. That Nebraska team was by far the best team in the country and they proved it on the field with blowout after blowout culminating with the Orange Bowl demolition of #3 Tennessee.

    Speaking of bowl games from a couple years ago, that Mississippi State team was a real worldbeater, wasn't it?
