Game tickets as low as $13 a pair Stub Hub

  • This really blows my mind that this is such a buyers market. I mean, who wouldn't want to go to this game? I'm so beyond pumped for this that I couldn't imagine not being there.

  • I think the biggest problem with this Big Ten Championship (as far as attendance) will be fans saving money for a trip to California a month later. I know that is our thought. Considering we just went to NY for the bball game and are planning on Pasadena should we win. We just can't justify spending another $100-200.

    If you think about it, the only conference championship game that sells out regularly is the SEC championship. The potential bowl trip for those fans (except for the year the Nat'l Championship is played at the Rose Bowl) is typically not nearly as extensive as it is for us in the midwest.

    you can't have fans travel four times. two max. I'm a big proponent of an 8 team playoff with the first round being at college stadiums. up north in the snow possibly!

    so the southern states should continue to have home field advantage

    Almost every where you can either print them or pick them up at will call..

    Or stubhub will get them to you if you order now.

    bottom fell out once Wisconsin returned a portion of their allotment. Up until then, the supply was limited to the tickets that alums/fans of the other B1G schools bought ahead of time.

    I have a feeling that MSU fans out number Wisconsin fans 55-45%

    16 team tournament with rounds 1 and 2 being played at the higher seed's home stadium.

    Seriously I just dont understand not making this game unless you truly have some unavoidable obligation that day. Money should not be an issue even for students. After stubhub fees and shipping a $13 ticket is about $35. Go to price line and get a hotel by naming your own price. I was able to get a 3.5 star for $50 ($64 after taxes). Could likely get a worse hotel for even cheaper. Go with a friend and split the cost. You could potentially go to this game for $100 if you ate cheap and split gas money.

    I'm sure triton is selling those 13 tickets for 80.

    LucasOil is smaller than Spartan Stadium...if you had "bad seats" they still would be pretty good for a football game.

  • Anyone have thoughts on the scalper scene before the game? I'm pretty sure we're going, but are a day away from buying tickets. I'd be nervous getting tickets from stubhub on that short of notice. I assume cheap tickets will be available on the street before the game, but I've been suprised before.

    Only a 3 hour drive from Chicago. I'd like to pull the trigger if not for the hotel situation. Too bad there isn't a deal around here similar to the Dean buses coming from Okemos. I'd jump on that in a minute.

  • Does anyone know the student ticket situation? I just printed mine, they look like they're in pretty good seats but with how cheap these f-ing things are, coupled with the fact that these tickets are my friends' that have his name on it, I'm starting to worry a bit.

    My friend (other ticket) and I both have MSU Student ID's, do you think we'll have any problems getting into the stadium? I'm thinking about just telling him I can't get in and buying some tickets online but I don't know.

    This should be a lesson for the Chicago area MSU Alumni Association leaders. Plan ahead, get the details for chartering a bus or two for this game in case MSU wins the division in the future. There should be no problem filling them up with the number of MSU alums in Chicagoland.
