Yeah if you rewatch the play he lets it dangle till the play stops. Didn't look like he was in too much pain though which is good or maybe he's just a tough SOB. My guess is should subluxation/dislocation. I've seen a few from my ATC days. Not sure why he wasn't in a sling though just to protect it. Sucks cause he was providing a spark for this team that I haven't seen in a while and a confidence as well. Hope Appling and the boys can keep it up till he's back.

If it is a full tear of the RC, he's out for the year. Seems like Izzo is hinting that its a moderate to severe RC sprain. Ugh, I feel terrible for Gary. Freak accident.

I just watched it again. Really weird. The screen was initially set on his right shoulder but then Gary turned is body right into the screener and caught his left shoulder square. Looked harmless but he favored it right away. As soon as the whistle blew, he walked over the bench for a sub.

Can we have one fucking year without a major fucking injury? Just one?
Do we need to reevaluate our fucking strength and conditioning staff? Football and basketball players are falling like flies every fucking year. I cant take this shit anymore.

UNC was a national title team last year that got absolutely gutted by injury, basically started as soon as they left the aircraft carrier. It happens.
