My comparison would be Richie Incognito of Nebraska. He abused us, and I was upset by it, and I hated on the guy for a while afterword. However, there are some differences. I don't believe he was flagged for any of the 10 or so personal fouls that he committed. There were so many and they were so bad that at some point near the end of the bowl game, the broadcast crew did a montage of many of the personal fouls he got away with. It was additionally frustrating because they injured Stanton badly and didn't even get a penalty for that. We lost and I think we would've been more competitive if even just the most egregious penalties were called.

In the end there were injuries incurred due to personal fouls and Richie Incognito actually was a criminal, but I still don't think we cried like UM has.

comparison to what? Incognito is a fucking psychopath...no different than Vontez Burfict.

LOS was the 34. Lewan hits the ground at the 25. When will Michigan get called for illegal blocking downfield? The holding is bad enough (how else would he be able to push Gholston 8 yards back?) - but they illegally block downfield on almost every single passing play. it's how Denard gets his yards. I recall Spielman about going ballistic pointing it out for the umpteenth time last year....so why isn't it called?

I didn't lay that out very well, but I was trying to draw a comparison on how our fan base reacted to a player going too far on the field versus what we have seen from the UM fans.

I had a post earlier on that too. It was amazing to me that so many of their OL were down field, let alone 10-ish yards down field.

scUM keeps feeding the beast. There is NO WAY that crap last year isn't remembered. Everyone but the true freshman were there to witness it. Bulliten board material is usually name calling. This years bulletin board includes actual attacks on our program and players.
