Golf cart thief

Yesterday I'm Golfing marsh ridge in garylord with a buddy. Everything's fine and he's practicing his chipping and a air horn goes off multiple times. So when he finally chips onto the green, and I'm putting by the way, a kid runs out of the woods and books it for our cart. He jumps in and I chase him. I cut through the woods and my buddy follows the cart but loses track of him. I come back and follow the tracks and find our clubs in the woods Later my buddy caught up to them while they drove away in a blue Durango but the cart was there, all our shit is there except my phone screen is cracked and a hundred dollars taken out of my wallet . Has this ever happen to anyone and I don't need a lecture either.

"I come back and follow the tracks and find our bus in the wood and not them," when you say bus, are you referring to your cart? or did you drive a bus to the golf course?

No it's not normal. Did you tell the management of the golf course about this? They may have some insurance coverage for this occurrence.

There was a two track so I tried to cut them off. He had the horn the whole time signaling his buddies.

Yeah and we called the cops. The owner came out and talked to the police and then disappeared. Went to the pro shop alittle later and it was closed.
