Good morning! Spartan hockey @ Alaska-Fairbanks (3/8-10)

Final SOG: 35-15 UAF. MSU 0-for-3 on the PP, 0-for-5 for UAF.
MSU goals tonight by Sorenson and DeBlouw. MSU leads the series 1-0.
2-1 final. The Spartans win the good ol' hockey game!

Never liked the guy, myself, for political reasons not worth mentioning here, but, if a life can be defined as "great" for one event or thing, it's this guy's life. No other song ever captured the spirit of The Game than the Hockey Song: "Hello out there, we're on the air, it's Hockey Night tonight, . . . ." I'm actually teary.

Looks like BG is forcing a game 3 at Lake State tomorrow, and Michigan gets the sweep against Northern Michigan. Always interesting when teams are playing just to keep playing. Go State!

True, but Yanakeff's been brilliant in Fairbanks. Last time he played up there, he was named the CCHA goaltender of the week.
I wouldn't feel confidant playing him in any other barn in the country except the Carlson Center.
