Got a rejection from a golf outing today

And I'm happy about it.
Turns out there are 100 foursomes in the outing, 400 golfers. On an 18 hole course.
Glad I am avoiding what should be a 7-8 hour round.

At least 8 hours. Anyone played in the beebe open before? Usually takes about 6-7 hours and only about 40 teams. Great fun tho.

Wow...so, you would have 5 or 6 foursomes on each hole? Thats sick.... I have been at some where there are 2 foursomes which is common, with a couple holes with 3 foursomes and that can take up to 5 1/2 hours ( maybe 40 teams ) .... but 100 foursomes? That takes cramming the course to a new level. What was the event?

We used to have golf outings for work and the damn rounds would take at least 8 hrs. It got real old especially on the hot days.

There's no way I'd play in an outing where you had 6 groups per hole.. That's stupid ridiculous.. Are you sure they aren't using 2-3 courses?
What course was this supposed to be at?
